You would think that the Phone Companies can put a stop to this.  The problem is, that they are just as
much of hungry [***] as who are the ones sending these faxes.  They fortify themselves against
incoming calls or I would send them a 1000 faxes and see how they enjoy getting this garbage.

We as individuals look to organizations that WILL do something to stop this sort of harrasment.

They have created a blind site that you cannot locate their name and fax number

I agree. Here is a link to the FCC where you can fill out a complaint form (form # 1088) on line. At the end, the FCC provides a number (1-866-418-0232) where you can send a copy of the bogus fax to them.

If the phone companies can't/won't do anything, maybe the FCC can!

    Pay back
    To pay back:

Print 4 or 5 sheets of solid black on whole page, tape together pages in a loop, and fax the loop hundreds/thousands of times. It will use massive toner and paper resources on receiving end.

Obscene images may work as well.

I complained to the FCC about a text message I kept getting.  I received a response from the FCC a week later saying there was nothing they could do.   So don't waste your time reporting.

SCAM!!!!! I am so disappointed in myself for not checking out the number on this fax that I got. Unfortunately, I did call this number and I did purchase the wonderful deal of (Assume the Position Travel Package to Hawaii) a lifetime. They were pretty good actors i must say. Although, I was disconnected from them several times (after giving them  my phone number) so they could obviously make sure i gave them a legit number and that i wasn't the authorities trying to track them down. The 199$ is per person, minimum of two people and the total came to like 419.95 or something. As I said they were good actors and even had "computer generated security info" points where you listen to an automated voice with prompts for information. I asked them if their was a website where i could look at my options for travel and they said that the website is for members only (Now knowing what i know, i want shoot myself for not raising any red flags at this point!!!) and that a membership ID and Pin would be sent with the email that I would get later on in the day. Longer story shorter, I did make the conscious decision to use my AMEX card because if i had used my debit card i would probably really be screwed. I called AMEX this morning after I saw the pending charges on my account (and after knowing that i had been HAD because i got no confirmation email like the scammers said i would and after i looked up their business name - SEA COAST TRAVEL - which was non-existent on the web. Amex said they would take care of it (I knew they would because they have a 0% tolerance for fraud but, i still felt so embarrassed - and i am not a senior person - I am 28 yr. old male) and the only thing was that the current card number would be canceled and  i would be issued a new card and number. Other than that and having to change merchant information that i do business with (AT&T was the only automatic payment that I have) it will be okay. Lessons learned right?

Faxing pages back to them sounds like a great idea, but they either use efax or (more likely) don't even have toner in their machines.

This is the longest-running scam I've ever seen...I've been getting these faxes to different numbers for at least the last 8 years.  So long and so far reaching, I'm surprised their operation hasn't been shut down yet.

It's gonna take a good junk fax lawsuit...
