Received a call from Clark Allen from Technical Maintenence Dept (TMD) advising me that my computer was send errors and that he worked for Microsoft. I shared with him that Microsoft is not in the business of calling customers about errors and viruses. He went on to say that my computer was sending lots of errors. I stopped him and asked for his name and he told me "Clark Allen" and i then asked for the name of his company...he repeated that he worked for the TMD. I again asked him "Sir, what is the NAME of the company you work for?" he replied, "Silver Tech" then I had him to confirm that Silver Tech is a contractor with Microsoft and he replied "yes."
i told him that before i ca give him any information, that I needed some information myself....can't be too careful these days, so I asked him for the number of his company (which he provided 1800-969-7419) and he emphatically said i can confirm that this is legit. I asked him if I could contact him directly with this number and and he said yes....ME: Who can i ask for?...Him: ETHAN....I said "well Ethan Clark Allen, my laptop which i use often is sitting right here beside me in my backpack, so it cannot possibly be sending you errors. The only error here is you!

I would like to report this company to yhe BBB but I am having trouble identifying it. They scammed $214 from me saying they represent microsoft.

The call came from 216.455.8031 and he identified himself as Victor from Technical Maintenance for Windows.  He said that they were getting errors from my computer and if I let him in he could show me.  I asked if he was from Windows and he said yes. I told him I just had my computer worked on yesterday and he continued to say he could show me the problem if I let him into my computer.   I then told him I needed to call him back and he gave me 1.800.969.7419 as his call back number.   I know it was a scam, I had my computer tech do a deep scan yesterday.

They called saying his name is Martin and is from Windows

Michael Wilson called and collected $499.00 for a lifetime subscription of malware on my computer and hacked my files

Clark Allen scammed me an my dad for 799.00$ just this week who do i contact 18009697419

Call his bank or card company (whichever he paid them with).
