It's Discover Card calling about savings options for people late on their payments. They were very polite and understanding.

Seems to be a scam to me, they call from a different number and when i try to pick up it hangs up right away and when they leave a message it’s always the same person calling and sounds exactly the same. tried calling the number back and they want the last 4 of my social but when i call discover they want my account number. very strange. also the discover number and this number don’t match so it heightens my suspicion even more.

This number has kept calling me asking for a person named Jennifer Burke to call them back which is not even my name or anyone I know. They always say there’s something about Discover card and that it’s very urgent. It’s always from the same number in Salt Lake City. I just blocked the number, I’m waiting to see what’ll happen now.

Been receiving about 15-20 calls a day from this number.  They say they are Discover and have some saving options for me.  I called Discover and they said that no one from Discover had called me at all??  Scam

It is Discover. I think they try to collect debts owed.

Scam. Wanted my last four, dob, and address. Posing as discover card.

ITS A SCAM!!!! please don’t be gullible people .....I’ve called the ACTUAL discover card from the number on the back of my card because I always have a zero balance . They took the number that had been calling me.   Seriously these scammers need to get REAL jobs ......

This is absolutely a scam... I called the real Discover while they were on the phone trying to collect a balance from me that I didn't owe.  She stated they are able to see when someone is in your account and calling you.  I had the scammers trying to be Discover, and the real Discover agent talking to each other.  The sammers eventually hung up... I do think these people think they are a part of the "Real" Discover team.  So sad... I put a password on my account... so no matter what I call about I have to provide them with the passcode.  I called the number on back of my card, and each time they asked for my password.  Try it out... This number will not know what you are referring to!

Same here... Put a password on your real Discover account... Everytime I call I have to give it to them or they will not speak to me.. Good Luck! They called me from 480-550-3253 (If you reverse this number called ID states it a VOICE over IP - this screams scam and and 800-973-5066

Have received multiple calls from this number (and other numbers) for past two weeks saying they are Discover. Sometimes leave a message, sometimes not. But, they are asking for a person I don't know and who has never been associated with my phone number. I have never had a Discover card. Really tired of the calls but not sure if it would be a good idea to call them back.

Someone has called both my husband, and my mother in law, asking for me about my Discover Card. They haven't contacted ME and I've never given them my husband or MILs numbers.

I receive calls from a number in Utah several times per day. "Amy" leaves a message saying she is from Discover Card and has great saving options for me. I called Discover Card, using the number on the back of my card, and they said they have no record of calling me. I believe it is a phishing scam. Don't fall for it. I'm going to block the number, and I'm going to let Discover Card know the phone number they call from, and the number they want you to call back, and place more security in my account. In fact, I'm going to do it with all of my accounts.

Happened just now. Peggy from Salt Lake City. Had last 4 digits of my bank routing numbers on file.  This is scary.  Since I closed those bank accounts, I needed to use my new bank info and I wasn’t going to do it over the phone. She was willing to overturn a late payment from months ago without confirming it and it seemed too nice. Something a creditor won’t just overlook that easily. I hung up on them and reached out to discover. They confirmed that it wasn’t them.

called bugging me.  never leaves a message.  Finally blocked.  I see above it might be Discover.  They can just snail mail me.
