Same! Yet, the phone number shows, on my statement, to still even call. You would think the TD, would be a little more smarter. Maybe, to remove scam numbers, like this one, from their own statement, website or other documents!

You think that TD Bank is putting scam phone numbers on their bank statements?  Seriously?  You need to seek some help.

I just got a call from the "TD Fraud dept" saying there were some unusual purchases for 2100 and 500. It didn't really feel like the usual TD kinda call. I was pretty hesitant to give any info, but the guy made me feel like it was legit. Plus they spoofed the number to make it look like it was actually TD calling.
They knew my name, they knew the first 8 digits of my credit card, and then kept asking more questions to confirm my identity. I hung up and phoned TD myself who told me there was no suspicious activity and that my card was still in fact up and running. Don't fall for the scams!

Called asking about charges on my TD credit card. Knew the first 4 numbers of my card but hung up when I said it sounds suspicious and that I would phone him if he gave me a number to phone. SCAM attempt.

What would him giving you a phone number to call prove?  He would still be scamming you.  Knowing the first few digits of a card means absolutely nothing at all.  That is common knowledge.

I just got a call from someone who said the same thing.  We are a business and he was looking for the business owner.  I told him she wasn't available and he said he was calling about fraud charges on our card starting with 45.  I asked him what the last 4 digits of the card were and he wouldn't tell me.  I asked him for a number to call him back and he said he didn't have one.  I strung him along a bit more knowing he was a scammer, kept asking him questions.  He said he would call back and hung up.

    Sick of scammers
Scammers are back at it again.
Claiming to be from TD Fraud Dept., telling me there are three suspicious transactions that they have blocked on my behalf.  She then told me to hold so she can put me through to a "manager" to reimburse the funds back to my account.  I'm actually looking at my account as I'm speaking with this scammer and told her I don't see any of these transactions so why would I need to be reimbursed?  SCAMMER!!!
Next time they call I'm just going to tell them to please go ahead and let the suspicious transactions go through.

They called me several times, and would call you more if you picked up and confirmed your name. The person had a Filipino accent. I'm guessing its those 3rd world call center spoofing numbers to scam. They keep calling u ma'am and sir and trying to talk their way out when u call them scammers. If you decline, they don't leave any voicemail (another red flag). If you keep calling them scammer, they would stop talking n hang up because they know the receive knows its a scam.
When u get this call HANG UP IMMEDIATELY, DONT TELL THEM ANYTHING ABOUT YOU, DONT CONFIRM ANY INFO, HANG UP, BLOCK, AND CALL TD FROM YOUR MOBILE APP.
