This is a number of Dominion Law Associates. They are bill collectors.

Dominion Law Associates are the same as Pender and Coward out of Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA.  The Mecca of trashy law firms.  

They violate every debt collection rule there is.  Report them to the Virginia Bar Association!

I find it odd that they send all letters/written correspondence to former addresses (in this case, my ex-husband), but yet they seem to have a current phone number for me.

Also beware, I paid the balance they said was due in full (mortgage company required proof that it was paid, and I no long have time to continue fighting this) and THE SAME DAY they call my home to tell me I still have an outstanding balance (the full amount that I paid)!!!  Now I'm wondering if the online payment transaction was secure, if it was really them, etc.

This company is indeed Dominion Law Associates, a debt collection agency. They continually call my *corporate* cell number for the person who previously owned the number nearly 18 months ago. When I try to call them, I am on hold for long periods of time before the line cuts out. Neither myself, nor my business (an international trade group) has anything to do with these people and even we are having trouble with them.

This company keeps calling my home number trying to collect a debt for a some stranger who probably had my number 2-3 years ago.  After ignoring their stupid prerecorded calls for many months, they still keep calling at least once a week and have done so for many months.  I guess they would just rather keep hassling people (even the wrong ones) until they get money and are too darn lazy to update their phone lists.  Even if I did owe money, I wouldn't give these sleezeballs a dime who probably wouldn't even hand over the money to the real creditor anyway but would probably just pocket it.

I filed bankruptcy just over two weeks ago, and today (a Saturday), Dominion Law Associates called, and it was a recording.  They have been notified of my bankruptcy filing and they still did an automated call.  I guess they don't like to have to update their records, from what I can see by reading the other posts on here.  They really are scum and idiots who have nothing better to do.  I will be reporting them to my bankruptcy attorney on Monday, and let them deal with the situation.

These Terrorists keep calling my number, I owe nobody a dime, I am debt-free and they say I owe their clients about $2,000.  Ummm yeah, get these people barred from the VA Bar Association.

They have been constantly calling our new phone number with a recording to collect a debt from some guy we've never heard of. The recording on our Voice Mail says if you don't hang up in 3 seconds you acknowledge you are that person. Huh? Are these people just plain stupid?

just got a call and the man could not hear me and kept saying hello hello! i just hung up on him. SCAMMERS!

We kept getting calls for whomever had our phone number before us.  We got a message saying " please call 1-800-989-0009 if you are not this person and would like your number removed" - when you call back, you are on hold for anywhere up to 30 minutes, then it rings as if it is going to an agent and promptly hangs up on you.  So, there is no way to remove your number if they are calling you by mistake AND there would be no way to actually PAY them if they are calling you with good reason. Really good business.  In any case, after finally speaking to a live person one day (since they have been calling almost every day for 9 months now), I asked them to remove our number, as that person had not been at our number for at least 7 months.  The calls stopped for all of 2 weeks, then they started up againasking for a different person-also a stranger.  I finally called the number for Pender and Coward ((757) 502-7326) and told them the situation.  I spoke to someone who assured me he would take our number off the list and look into the whole not answering calls thing.  So, my recommendation: call Pender and Coward if they are calling your number by mistake and threaten to file a misconduct complaint until they take your number off.  Good luck.

They will not answer their phones.  You are kept on hold for long periods of time - over 30 minutes - then it sounds as if to transfer you - then hangs up on you.  I did call Pender and Coward and they told me they could not transfer me --- they were just in the same building.  I even called the creditor that Dominon Law said referred to them and they gave me the name of the Attorney with Dominon Law that is aware of my situation and that there is not a debt owed - and I cannot get a hold of her .  I emailed the law firm and gave all the information - the email did not come back to me - so I know they got it - no response.  This is a horrible situation for anyone.

Why like this boring tel number exist? Why Nobody accuse this agent all the time.

Does anyone here who complained of being contacted by this company in the last 12 months also bank at Wells Fargo Bank??? I have a suspicion that they are getting their contact info from this  bank! Please let me know.
