i wish they would quit calling

We get daily calls from Morningstar. They hang up just after we say hello. They call at least twice in the morning and also on the weekends. We are not subscribers of their trade publications or anything. Tried their corporate office number to be removed (312) 696-6000 and was put on hold for 15 minutes. We're pretty patient, but when they don't even give anyone an opportunity to request to be removed, it's difficult not to be upset.

I got this sick call everyday, they try to sell me sth, It's Morning Star call.

You are wrong. "Their" was the proper usage. It indicates the possessive. "They're" is a contraction for "they are" which is not what is being stated in Mark's sentence.

I got calls from this number at least 9 times.  It is from Morningstar at Utah. They never left a message.  I called the Morningstar's customer service department and complained their business practice.  I was told they would send an e-mail to Utah office to remove my name from the calling list.  But, I still receive calls.  

I called this 801 number today.  I was told they would remove my number from the list.  I will see.

I called the number back and asked the nice lady to please take us off the call list. She politely said she would. Now we'll see ...

1st call was a hangup, VERY INFURIATING.

2nd call was a very nice and sweet girl, told her no and she said OK and bye.

these people call my 13 YR OLD DAUGHTER night and day.. I told them this morning to stop calling and here I am as I type this on hold with them because they called AGAIN. I went through her call log and they call twice a day every damn day!!

A two minute message is left with nothing but back ground noise of several people talking in a call center.

Response: Maybe you already know, but anyone you've "established a business relationship with" is exempt from DNC (unless you tell them to not call). It's like political calls ("free speech" :) ) or charity calls (in which fundraisers keep 98% of the donations). So if you subscribed to Morningstar they may technically be legal. Tell them to shove off. Always exceptions in purported consumer protections for the big donors or politicians.
