I also received 2 different requests from "eBay Financial Department" asking me to post payment thru eBay Motors.  The emails looked very official including eBay logos and such.  I am reporting the situation to eBay as well as Craig's List.  Buyer Beware.

I am the only one in my family that deals on Ebay so my parents asked me if they could use my account to by a Camper...... and sent me all the emails from this person Lidia Faulkne..... so me being the person i am i started looking to see if i could get any info on her.... !!!! I also was looking at this trailer.  Followed up with cdiaz42 via e-mail and asked to see the trailer.  Shows to be located in Edmond Ok.  She replied back that the trailer is located on e-bays resale or large item vehicle lot located in Houston Tx.  All I had to do was give her some personal information and and 2900.00 and e-bay would deliver the trailer to my residence for "inspection".

Thought that was kind of odd.

Researced and e-bay has no such lots, anywhere!!!!

Sounded too good to be true and as always if it sounds that way it is..

I also saw this posting in the Green Bay WI Craigslist and got the exact same email from Cdiaz42@msn.com.  That camper is worth $15800 so I initially figured the poster accidentally forgot the leading 1.  As soon as she gave me her sob story and validated the low price for a quick sale, I knew it was a scam.

Yes, I agree with everyone posting regarding Carla Diaz - same thing happened here! How awful to think that this is happening - anyone know how to report them/her/him?

I got this same e-mail from "Lidia" (if that really is her name!!) this is the last e-mail I sent to her:
do understand how things go when you have a new job, and I don't expect you to take any time off work. There's really no hassle, I can pay as you requested-if you give me the info of the shipping company you use I will arrange a pick up time myself so you have even less to worry about.

Even better, I am prepared to come to Indianapolis with CASH to pay and pick up-I would be MORE than willing to work around your busy schedule, I am quite flexible... what could be any easier than that, cash payment would surely be better than an ebay transaction-less people involved in the transaction the better!!  

I NEVER heard from her again!! What kind of person would use the memory of a soldier who passed away to feed off the sympathy of potential buyers just to scam them!! WHAT A SICK PIG!!!

This is a scam.  She has this camper listed on Craiglslist in dozens of cities, then says she moved to Indiana.  Claims it'ss a bank repo, then it's her son's who died in Afghanistan.  Claims Ebay buyer protection will cover your purchase price.  Don't fall for it!

cdiaz42@msn.com selling a camper on craigs list for WAY less than what it is worth.  Was listed locally then recieved an email stating that it is in TX.  Make a payment through Ebay.  Ya right.  I emailed back and said I was going to be in Texas anyway and wanted to look at it with cash in hand and willing to pay 1000.00 over what they were asking.  The Result?   My email was returned to me.  No further contact.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!
