hello i have been writing to ye a gentleman who is in the us army and basically sounds silly but have started a realtionship kinda thru e-mail he is servin in afgan an asked me to write to the usmilitarybaseconsults@usa.com is this a real addy? or is it part of these scams????? am confused it was to request a telephone conversation an i had to anwser security questions about the man in question not myself!! as i wouldnt give out an personal info if asked anyway but do you think this is real? some friendss of mine told me to look at this website and now i feel a bit silly??

Yep, I am in the middle of one of these right now. I looked this up to see if it was legit. I knew something seemed sketchy.

I was looking for a car on craigslist and ran acroos this ad about this range rover 2003 in excellent condition it only has 30,000 and was being sold for 2500 and was ready to move forward received an email stating that they will be using ebay as the way to make the payments I looked up ebay and spoke to a rep who avised me not to do it on the other range rover she actually tried to convince me that she we wld be makin the transaction thru google that is not an option as well remember these are all competitor companies and one company will not process a payment for another and also once you moneygram or western union that is as good as giving cash call the fedearl trade commision and they will advise you as to how you can proceed even after I advised them that I would only purchase and that I had spoken to the authorities they still insisted that I make the transaction thur western union beware of VICTORIA SIEFERTV AND DEBRA SN ADREW JONATHON I called the number from the building in one of the photos and the advised me that he sold the car last year and it was a scam pay attention to the photos verify info in the photos BEWARE both of the range rovers were for 2500 2003 model one is green and one is white

o and by the way the story is exactly the same only this time he is pretending a mrried man and woman that lost their job and need to sell immediately did not wnat to provide a number he is getting smarter he is stating that he is Minot North Dakota and also in alaska title will come with the vehicle with all papers to register it when asked abt the number he said just well suposedly I was talking to a woman she stated tht they had just moved and that no phone at this time phone company will be out this week to fix it

Same song and dance here in Michigan. Someone under the name Loreen Thomas posted an ad for cheap 04 Jeep Wrangler.

Broken English. Sketchy story. Brother with the DAS. Some story about needing money fast. Not how a typical person would respond to an inquiry. I requested the VIN number and scan of the title. Got a quick response with a fake VIN and story.

Thanks to google I did a search of the name and there's only one person with that name in the Detroit Area. And it's not that person.
