Received a call from 801-456-4525 but was hung up on, as soon as I answered

Received call today and didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voice mail.  They left no message.  Caller ID says it's from Cicero Research.  I checked their web site, and it says that they're a marketing research firm.  One of their customers is Citigroup, and if that's what they're calling about, I'd be glad to tell them to shove Citigroup where the sun doesn't shine! I've had very bad experiences with Citigroup (lies, cancelled money transfers that I needed to pay bills, and more lies), and I refuse to deal with them (Citigroup) anymore.

The number called my cell phone - which is on the no call registry. I didn't pick up, and they didn't leave a message.

they called me and i didn't answer, no message left. They called my mobile which is in the do not call list!

I picked up, but no one answered on the line, so I hung up after a few seconds.  No new businesses - or any business, for that matter Alaska Time 8:55AM

801-456-4525- Called once on Nov 29th, and again on Dec 2nd. No voicemail left. Business owner here.

This phone number just called my cell phone and didnt leave a message.
I didnt recognize the phone number so I googled it and arrived here.
Looking at earlier posts saying the number is related to a research company or citigroup..
How can I get them to not call me?

The common thread here is that we all have an account (or had one in the past) with Citigroup.

This is Citigroup's market firm. I was online paying bills, etc. when the call came in.

These are not random calls from machines. They have your specific information (i.e. they don't call 555-1000, 555-1001, 555-1002; they call 867-5309 to ask Jenny why she cancelled her car payment with her online bill pay account).

Yeah!!! screw Citigroup!!!

Called 6 times in 20 minutes during a meeting.

many companies doing call surveys & customer complains left online, etc.

USE A DIFFERENT E-MAIL ADDRESS (SET ONE UP) IF REQUIRED FOR USING A SITE!!!

Let the message machine pick it up, but the caller had already hung up. Given the other reports that this is a 'research' firm, and knowing that the auto-hangup means they are robo-dialing, I expect this annoyance will go on for days or weeks...

I've had them call several times - including during class!  There's never anyone on the other line.  The thing is, I don't even know how they got my new phone number.

I just had a call from them on My cell phone I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I called them back however and left a message for them to Stfu.  I know that doesn't show any class but those type of companies don't deserve any class shown to them.

I got a call from this number as well (801-456-4525) and didn't answer, I usually don't answer calls with weird area codes outside my area. They called for the last 3 days in a row and never left a VM.  I usually never research the number but now I am kind of relieved its nothing important and I am not the only one at least receiving it.

This number just called, I didn't answer. Caller ID said: CICERO RESEARCH.

They left no message; I just hope they don't call back.

They got me on the phone and asked if I would take a survey offering an Amazon $20 gift card if I did and then the phone disconnected
