who is this person who calls and calls onmy cell phone

I just got a call from them, using my business name, which they could not pronounce !  Someone named Lisa said she wanted to promote my sales on EBAY.  I let it go to voicemail

It is ebay and it is not a scam.  Never asked for any critical information but knew about a dispute resolution that I filed recently.  They only asked for the last 4 of my SS# so that is safe enough.

i just got a call from 1-800-545-1800 and the lady said that she was calling on behalf of ebay because there making some changes with the way they bill any she said the call was being recored i said ok and then my cell lost the call and she hasn't called back. i'm thankful for the internet because i googled the number and found this site. so that you for the imoformation.

Keeps calling about 3 times daily finally caught the number as my fax was grabbing it after 2 rings as i keep it on as my house number as unlisted. I cannot figure out how or where they got my number as i did not use this number on ebay. I plan on calling it back now and basically telling them if they call here 1 more time im calling the fraud department on them.

Funny its real yet i DONT HAVE AN FN EBAY ACCOUNT! So people on here are saying someone has used my number to create an ebay account?

got this call but I am very suspicious of it.  They can get your email from ebay listings so beware.  I think it's a SCAM.

Got a call from this # too and meCalled it back and got outgoing message, sounds like eBay but it was odd they asked for my eBay user name so I asked why and he said they were confirming a bid I had out but when I told him I wasn't bidding on anything he asked if I was selling anything!? So I hung up and found this site and emailed eBay C/S.

She called today, she said she was calling from ebay. When I Told her to call her back she hesitated and hanged up. that was weird because ebay never called me before.

this is a legit number....do not freak out.  call it back and listen.  they tell you to check your eBay messages in your account.  I called and everything is fine.  it is ok to be skeptical, but don't post BS.  seriously do some checking before you post that something is fraud.

it's legit but it's just a useless PITA phone call - a way for ebay to waste more money to increase their fees. Why not fire all these useless employees and lower your fees, ebay?

This number is an eBay number. it could be a call from Trust and Saftey which help to make the site safe for the buyers and sellers

I just received this call right now, but didn't pick up. However, they left a number and it's a legit call from Ebay (They stated my Ebay ID and my name)

just got a call from this number and didn't answer it b/c i was in class.  The lady said she was from eBay and that I have listed a fraudulent item that will be removed.  I haven't had anything listed in over 2 weeks.  This is a super scam, so if they call back I will find out more and post.

Not true, especially if you are a power seller, you will get a call from ebay a few times a year.

It's a legitimate eBay number. Which I have verified. It told the caller I didn't have a lot of time to talk and requested that she send me an email which came from eBay.
