I am sick of these calls from this number.  I don't know who they are so I'm not going to answer anyway. They can keep on calling as quiet as it's kept because I don't answer long distance calls from someone I don't know.

I don't know about other carriers but Sprint allows you to block a series of numbers, either calls or messages, at your own discretion.

I'm beginning to think that a bank that I had a car loan with (5th/3rd), or a collection agency working on behalf of that bank, is selling contact info to these alarm system companies. If it wasn't them, then there is something else (a company/entity that all of us do business with) that all of us receiving these calls have in common...which is where they are getting our phone #s. I started getting these calls after 5th/3rd MISTAKENLY turned my account over to a collection agency.
Do any of you share my theory?

I wish they would stop!!!!!!  They are driving me crazy......they do not leave a message....it is now harrassing!!!

THEY CALL ALL THE TIME, I DO NOT OWE ANYONE ANY MONEY.

There are actual companies whose job it is to see what phone numbers are "live" or not. If you answer one of these calls, your number is automatically sold because now it is a "live" number. That is why when you answer they immediately hang up on you. They just want to know that someone is at your number and guess what--your number is sold to all kinds of people!!  These people are making money when you answer your phone.

NEVER answer a phone number you don't know.  Get "caller ID" if you don't have it so you can tell who is calling.

But if the telemarketer hears one ring its enough to know that it is a live number, even if you don't answer it.

My caller id says they are western sky. They are the American Indian loan company.

called twice today. First call was 3 days ago.  I don't answer and no messages left. It's just annoying. Who do you get it to stop?

Got a call around 10: 00am.  I didn't bother to answer it since I didn't recognize the number. They didn't leave messsge.

what a pain in the ass they are

It was a male with some type of odd sounding foreign accent (it actually sounded like a faked foreign accent). At first he asked me who he was speaking to, and I asked him who he had called. Then he asked me my ss# number. I hung up on him.

I SPOKE WITH THEM AND THEY WERE TRYING TO GIVE ME A FREE HOME SECURITY SYSTEM IN EXCHANGE FOR PUTTING A SIGN IN MY YARD WHEN I TOLD HIM NO HE STARTED TO ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY CREDIT RATING. I TOLD HIM IT WAS NONE OF HIS BUSINESS AND HUNG UP!

Have called 4 times in the past 48 hours.  Recorded message.  I am on do not call list.
