Got a call from Julian Babbitt at x631. He was quite nice & not so pushy when asking to be connected to our President but I could immediately tell it was some sort of "sales" call. He said he was calling to discuss some sort of equipment finance deal. The minute I told him the President wasn't available, he asked for our CFO or controller.

Don't waste your time, it's a cold call. I took his info down precisely so I can post it on here.

Got a call from Tim Brunson of Onset Financial.  Also asked for the CFO and then wanted to Controller.  Reluctant to leave a message but I got one to pass on...I also believe this is a cold sales call.

this guy calls and asks for the cfo who hasn't actually worked for us in some time. i recognized his voice as he has called from a different number before, put him  on hold to look this number up and sure enough, same guy.
when i asked him to remove us from his list and not call back, he said that was b-llsh-t and said f--k you.
seriously !?

Calls incessantly despite requests to be removed from the cold call list.
I was advised by the TM they cannot remove anyone from thier call list becuase it "waaaay too big for that".
Will be filing compliants for each call with FTC .

First rule of thumb for cold calls: Don't be rude and tick off the gatekeeper.

Caller from this number said he was "Tim" from Onset Financial asking to speak with our CFO. When informed that call are not accepted unless they have their name they tried to intimidate me into transferring the call. When he continued to argue that he was providing enough information to be transferred, etc.(not by our standards, not by a long shot!) I simply hung up. He called back, I immediately put him on hold then disconnected after 2 min. He called right back and asked for the company president by name and I transferred them to an automatic voice mail. (The company pres says if he wants to talk to them, he'll give them his direct number.)

This guy was rude, condescending, and applied intimidation tactics. Hey, nothing says "Cold-Calling Loser" like a salesman implying the switchboard operator is too dumb to know what's good for them!

A man calls from this number more than one time per day asking for our CFO.  If I say she is away or busy, he asks for the Controller or Treasurer.  When I tell him the CFO is all of those things, he says he will call back.  If I do send him through to her line and she doesn't pick up (she rarely answers calls from numbers she doesn't know), he will immediately dial zero to speak with me (the operator) again.  He will ask if she is in and if I say yes he always asks me to try her line again.

Called today asking for our controller by name.  I have the phone number on my list of scumbag sales calls and I so didn't want to answer the phone... When I did and transferred him, our controller let it go to voice mail.  And of course this idiot bounced right back to me and told me he got voice mail and asked if he was in.  I told him that he was unavailable and that's why he didn't answer (duh!).  "I guess I'll try back again tomorrow."  When he does I'm going to send him to an extension that has no voice mail set up!

Guy called for CFO heard call center background so i sent him to vm.  The guy called back and asked if he was in and to transfer him back lol.  I sent him to vm again.  If he keeps calling ill put him on my scumbag list of Losers to not transfer.

OMG, if I could do a screen shot of my call history for the last 10  minutes from this company and attach it here, I would!!  He called NINE times... IN A ROW!!!!  Talk about relentless!

Guy called and asked for our CFO I dumped him in to voice mail, he called back, didn't say anything and I hung up, he just called back asked if our CFO was in I told him he was, asked to be transferred to him, dumped him into voice mail again.

Onset Financial keeps calling our office despite us asking to be taken off their contact list. ARGH!

Called and left no message on voicemail, but traced the originating number through here.  Thanks everyone.  I've just added their number to our "Block" list.

Called asking for the IT admin and butchered the name.

Actually it was the purchasing admin

Guy called asking for CFO by name. He says he's from Onset regarding financial expenditures.  I knew it was a sales call so I told him CFO is in meeting, I could transfer to voicemail. He asked if there was another, I said no. I went to transfer and I hung up on him. Oh well. I know they will call again, they always do.

constant calls from 801-878-0600.  they will not go away.  save yourself time and ignore.

This company needs to be reported everywhere for the harrassment they give to businesses.  Here is there website.  There is no way to "contact" them with a complaint... only a request for proposal.  I am a receptionist for a large company and the phone number listed on their site is exactly the one that pops up on my screen when they call.
