I finally got a human on the phone, it was the Red Cross calling for their annual fund drive.

This is some research company.

To stop these calls file your complaint at http://www.ftc.gov/donotcall.

I do this with every unwanted call and believe me, the callers pay a heavy price for every complaint filed.

They continue to call me and hang up, every few hours and at night when my kids are sleeping. File a complaint on the national Do Not Call website, I just did. Very easy and only takes 2 minutes. Hopefully if enough of us do this, they will stop this company from calling.

I think this might be a robocall, especially for the upcoming elections.  Got one from another number with a string of 0's in the CallerID.

calls come in from 801-943-0000 and no one there when I answer...several calls a day and I am on the do not call list???  Extremely annoying!

I don't think this is a research company. I had this number call me too and I asked someone about it. Apparently you can use a computer to tap into phone lines, find unlisted numbers to call and all kinds of other info. When you try to call back of course it's going to say it's disconnected!They can also use a head set to talk to you.

Those are the exact same numbers that called me. Like I said, someone had to have tapped into the phone lines through the internet. They can find out all kinds of information about you online, so they'll know stuff about you when they call and they can use a head set to talk.

This number called  tonight.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognise the number.  No message left.

calls everyday.never leaves a message saying who they are or what theyre calling for. since i am at work the time of day they call, i cant tell them that i am on the do not call list.........i am sooooo glad i am on that list, it works soooooooooo well

No message left. Another site indicates this might have a connection with Verizon and/or Qwest.  I do not have any Verizon services so can only assume this is a solicitation call.

I got a call from this nubmer.  It was for a political campaign in Las Vegas.

i got a number of these calls today while i was napping. 19 in 3 hrs. im glad im a heavy sleeper lol. well i was actually on this website looking for some answers when they called again from the "8019430000" number. There was someone on the other end of the line! it was actually a young girl who was sitting behind an auto dialer trying to clear up some mis information about dina titus the lady who is running for congress. Once i answered if i was voting or not she said i would stop getting the calls. lol i guess?

I've had this number call me twice now. It's an automated polling doing political polling.

called and hung up when machine picked up.

I recieved a call from that number asking for a particular person, who answered the inquery  by saying "she's at work".

This # beeped in, wasn't able to answer. Interesting in the difference given between the calls and also how recently they have been dailed out. Nov. 1 2008.

I got one from this number tonight.  Very weak older man asking for to vote for a particular candidate and tellling me the other guy has lied.

Older man very poor public speaker asking for me to vote for one candidate and bashing another.
