This number has been calling my phone 2-3 times a day for about 3 weeks. I finally answered today, and a man told me he had the wrong number!

Got a call from a guy who said we had a problem with our website and needed to speak with the owner, said he was out, guy asked for his cell..I laughed-uh NOPE!. Our website is fine! Be aware of fakes such as these people.

Have received calls on my cell phone from this number for the past 8 weeks, they never leave a voicemail. Answered a few times and there is no one on the line. Today, a person asked if I was the owner and to open my computer and share my desktop with them so they can rebuild and enhance my website. when I asked that my number be removed they promptly hung up on me. SCAMMER!

Caller told me they were calling from 1&1.com lol

What is their motive to call and then not speak when answering their phone call?  Seems like an odd way to try to make any money.  They have too much time on their hands and/or are complete imbeciles.

They called for the 25th time today so when I picked up, the lady on the other side asked for "the owner" so I asked "the owner of what?" She mentioned my business name and I said, "No, I'm sorry, I have no clue what that is." I asked her who was calling and she said 1-on-1.com or oneonone.com but I checked online and those businesses don't look like what was calling me.

Called and asked to speak to the owner or the person in charge of handling the internet in our business. Informed the lady I was not the owner. She then proceeded to ask when the best time is to contact him and asked for his cell phone number.  Um no!

Caller (Kira) advised was with Time Warner Cable. Lied & said not the supervisor after she did her spiel...she hung up as soon as I said the facility owner's were not on site to talk.

Turned off voice mail so I have enough time to check the number here first, then I hit the big red 'BLOCK NOW' button and they are history. Having a call blocker is soooo liberating. I wield it like a sword that's cutting telemarketers in half.

Called but no message. Assuming it is a Scammer, that receives your info from your website.

Received a call today, didn't answer.  I do have a website however from what I have read in previous comments, it's just a scam.

Did you recently purchase a website and domain and didn't shell out the extra 9.95$ for domain privacy? It sounds like a telemarketing agency running through new domain purchases and cold calling them.

I don't want to be bothered by unsolicited calls

Calls and asks for owner.  Claims to be calling from the company that does our website design.
They do not do our website design a completely different company manages our website.
Asked for the credit card number our website company is tied to so she could check she had the right account.
Thank Goodness I wasn't born yesterday!

803-392-1718 just called our business. Caller ID shows up as Graniteville SC. The caller, clearly a monkey with a script working in a sweatshop environment, started the call off with "This call is on a recorded line for quality and assurance purposes". No "Hello". No "This is Mr Blank from ABCXYZ company". Nope, just straight into the call recording warning. I responded with "I do not authorize this call to be recorded as I do not know who you are or the nature of this call". The male caller stated "May I speak to the owner of the company?" I then responded with "Once again, I do not authorize this call to be recorded, and may I inquire to the nature of this call?" The male caller stated that "We're calling to speak to the owner in regards to your internet connection. There's a problem." I informed the caller that "Our internet is just fine, as it's with a reputable company, and I'm using it right now to file a complaint against your illegal phone call. Have a good day." Click.

Kept asking for the owner..........I kept asking what he was trying to sell............then I hung up.

Female called our general number asking to speak to the owner.  I could  hear many calls in background...obvious call center.  When I told her they were not available, she would not leave a message or say what the call was about.  She just said would call back at a better time.  Annoying sales call.

LMAO - This is a fabulous response.... lol   I got a call, didn't answered, they gave no voicemail, so I looked the phone number up on google and landed here.   Love your response... lol
