So Did I, I called the number on the invoice, and he asked me to go into my computer on Crome.

Got an email today from a .gmail.com ( boydenmolino7350@gmail.com)
sender, first clue. No companies use Gmail as their email. Certainly not geek squad who they said the invoice was from. Second, the invoice had spelling errors and slang English that's not used in the US.
Example: Tenure: 12 months, we'd use Term: 12 months. Third, the letter head didn't match Geek squads logo.

However, when I called the number they provided,  803-692-1296, the person was foreign speaking and became immediately defensive when I began questioning him. And told me that he couldn't cancel the order that I had to download a form from a website....OMG are you for real. I hung up and called back again to see what the next guy would say. Same BS, different person. And because I was so intelligent noticing the mistakes that he would be so kind and cancel it for me.

Unfortunately folks, many people would have been so afraid of losing the money that's on the invoice they would have followed the requirements. Help protect and advocate for people so they can spot these criminals. The criminals are rarely caught and folks never recoup their money.

I followed up with a call to geek squad to alert them.
