I got a text from a private number saying to call this number because my visa debit card had been locked due to suspicious use. I know its not my bank. beware identity thieves!

I got a text stating that my vias debit card was locked due to suspicios activity and to call this number to unlock. 805-244-1545 i called to check and the automated message asked to enter my acct# then the cards exp. date and cvc# in the back of the card following with my ssn#.......wow!  they called the wrong one because I did not fall for it so please beware and do not give your info to this bogus phone#.  The first thing that gave it away was that it did not identify it self as any company or bank just as visa credit union security. If it were real the would have said the name of the company or bank. AGAIN BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that was the same email that wad in the text that i got. Duh! As if we don't know what a VOIP is! Idiots need to get a real job & a life!

i just got a text message at 12:10 am in the morning. stating my visa card is suspended due to suspicious activity.
what a joke. i wonder how they got our numbers

Got a text from this number called the number and the automated message claims to be visa securities department. Asks for our credit card number. Please beware of this

I received a text from this number as well, asking for me to call due to suspicious behavior on my visa.I did call the number just to see what the automated system said. Please be aware.....

Just a thought???? Has anyone thought about reporting this to the authorities????? Seems all of the prior post on (BEWARE THE VISA SCAM) is just as ODD as the text itself; not one prior post, seems to have concern to report this issue/scam.......

Just received a text saying that my visa debit card had been locked due to suspicious activity and to call that number. The message also came with a link...but I am not going on it with my phone, who knows, they will probably try to hack it or something next! Btw, I had a very good laugh when I read the text. Great start to my Saturday night! ;-)

I just received a call from a 702  phone number asking for my account number because my card has been blocked. People have way to much time on their hands
