Just got my first call from this number, which originated in Thousand Oaks, California. I did not answer and they did not leave a message, which alerts me to the strong possibility that it's a telemarketer.

An unwanted call from this Conejo Valley area VOIP number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller responded with dead silence.  This is the tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

There is some evidence the caller is a scam contractor (probably unlicensed).  The website www.whitepages.com describes this number as "suspected spam."  Whether it's air duct cleaning, home repairs, computer repairs, credit cards, vacation giveaways, fake charities, or the IRS, A SCAM IS A SCAM IS A SCAM!

Another unwanted call from this Conejo Valley area VOIP number arrived today, less than 1 month since the last unwanted call on Sept. 26.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller responded with dead silence.  This is the tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

The perpetrator is identified as a scam HVAC contractor (probably unlicensed).  Also today, another serial scam HVAC contractor -- Quality Air -- unlawfully phoned again from (909) 245-0598, a Crestline VOIP number.  Could Quality Air be using VOIP lines at both (805) 244-2268 and (909) 245-0598 to conduct its illegal activities?  Inquiring minds want to know.

The perpetrator is a scam HVAC contractor (probably unlicensed).  Another scam HVAC contractor -- Quality Air -- has phoned from (909) 245-0598, a Crestline VOIP number.  Could Quality Air be using VOIP lines at both (805) 244-2268 and (909) 245-0598 to conduct its illegal activities?  Inquiring minds want to know.

It's probably the same goofs that are using 805-201-0412.

They called again today (3rd time) and left no message when it rolled over to my answering machine.  I tried calling back and it was always busy, possibly because it's a robo-caller and is constantly occupied.  Might try again late this evening.
