No one here can do this for you, 800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

We were charged $2.99 on 14 August for 2 minutes.  We did not call this number.

I just got off the phone with Shaw over two charges from Triton Global. They apparently haven't looked into this scam, as they said they would months ago, because they wouldn't reverse the charges saying it was a legitimate third party long distance directory for chat lines, radio contests and other weird calls and that Shaw deals with them regularly.  Panasonic cordless phones have a built in call block and this number will be priority one on mine.   I'm also going to report this number to the CRTC.

Same thing here, was billed 2.99$ by Bell for that Triton Global number that we never heard of (september 5, 2014). Called Triton Global and the girl told me she will remove the fee "for this one time", like it's a favor from her side... whatever.
There is no way I would EVER pay for something I didn't do and nobody should.

Same thing just happened to our business as well.  We never made such a call.  What scam is being pulled now?  I'll spend the next 1 1/2 hours on the phone with Bell to get a 2.99 charged reversed.  It's frustrating.

I just received my bill and found a charge of 2.99. I called my provider and they reversed the charge. They also block anyone from making a collect call to my house. This will alleviate any charges from here on. This is a big scam. Be careful. Shame on you Triton Globel.

How do you expect 800notes to do anything?????  This site has nothing to do with that phone company.    Did you call them yourself???

I had a charge on my Bell bill from Sept 1/14.  I called Bell and they told me it was "directory assistance" This is ridiculous.  I never made the call.  Bell gave me a hard time, but finally reversed the charge.
However, I am upset because I know I didn't make the call and don't know how it appeared on my bill.
If anyone knows please send me an email.  Thanks  LOUISEL32@gmail.com

I had the same like you had, a mystery call charged $2.99 plus tax on my primus November phone bill. The date of this call was August 12, 2014.
The Customer service at Primus advised me to check internet, so I found you. Did Primus reverse the charges?
Do you know what this is all about? I feel unsafe.

I received this charge on my Roger's bill this month.  I called to ask what the "third party" charges were on my home phone line, and the lady gave me this phone number.  I immediately searched the internet and found this page.  Thanks for the information.  No one in my home made this collect call so I have no idea how this charge was incurred.  The roger's rep was excellent as she did her own search and reversed the charge on my bill.  She told me to call back if I see it again. In the meantime they will be looking into it for themselves.
I too receive long distance calls with no one at the other end when I answer it...perhaps this is how they managed to charge us...

I would call Bell back and demand that they look it up for themselves!  I used to be a Bell customer...enough said!

Got the same charge as everyone else...called Bell and they told me that someone at our company called Directory Assistance  AKA Triton Global Business Services.  ...they are using Bell to bill customers who use the directory assistance because they don't have the means to do so.  The phone number for Triton is (866)340-4990...apparently someone here called them to find out who was calling from (807)788-1246...I asked eveyone here...we are not that big of a company and NOBODY uses them for directory service...who would when there is 411.ca or 555-1212?  Scam.  $2.99 plus tax does not seem like a lot but how many thousands of people have they billed that will just go ahead and pay it!

I was billed on my telephone provider for .99 cents for telephone assistance plus $2.95 for a call to 807-788-1246. Neither calls were ever made from my telephone.

Well, my experience with this number is different than all the other ones I am reading. A Red Cross canvasser came to my door and gave his charity pitch, then asked if he did a good job, and if he did, would I please call  a toll free number that was printed on a bookmark he gave me, and tel them he did a good job. I called the toll free number, and got a recording that this phone number was changed to 807-788-1246. So I called that and got put on hold, and hung up. I'm not going to ring up minutes on a phone number that isn't free. Then I thought I'd come look it up. It looks as if I need to cal my phone company because I'll be charged $2.99 like everyone else who reported.
