A John Stone called for my bf, I took the number down, 948-9575 and the company he was calling from but said he couldn't tell me what in regards to.

Always calling me but never leaves any message.  So I don't bother calling back.

David Sakamoto from Guardian Capital Management left a message for me to call him back. While he did not say what he wanted, other than my return call, from the previous messages I see he is a debt collector.

Dave Sakamoto keeps calling me at work regarding an old medical bill I am not familiar with. He tried to collect over the phone and when I tell him that I first need to verify with the hospital to make sure this is something I have not yet paid, he throws a fit and tells me "it wouldn't be in collections if it was paid for". I then ask him why he has a problem with me wanting to verify the debt, which causes him to throw more of a hissy fit and he tells me "then I'm giving u 7 days and you will need to pay this debt on full!" then he hangs up like a little baby that didn't get his way. Seriously, your gonna get mad cause I want to verify the debt which I have every right by law??? Makes me even more leery of this guy and wether his business is legit! Who handles business like this? So rude!

Here's the info to report them also to the ACA International in which Guardian Capital Management Hawaii LLC is a member of. The ACA will investigate and also reprimand them if they find out any illegal conduct is done against the consumers by their collections agency members.

They some how got May new address and mailed me a letter stating I owe a school money which I know I didn't take out any loans from...and some how this guy Dave called and wanted me to call him back but by reading all reviews from this company it sounds like a scam...I don't know how they got my new address and new phone number

I have had 5 calls, with no messages. I dont pick up to calls i dont know. I have called the number several times, but its always a recording saying that ext. Is busy. Why does this person not leave messages if its a ligit comp.?

They also can't call you prior to sending you a letter. And, they can't call you without prior WRITTEN consent, something they added on Oct. 15th.  Also can't call and just hang up.

Make them verify the debt via a Debt Validation Letter!  The proof is on them!  And, depending on how old, they can no longer collect, thus they're in yet another violation.  They also constantly break the FDCPA violations by talking so rude and making threats! FDCPA is $1,000! If everyone sent these guys one of these Letters of Intent To Sue based on all of their FDCPA violations, they will be put out of business in no time. Many don't do this because they're not aware they can do this...  If they call and hang up, yet another violation as they need to let you know who they are, why they are calling and give you the mini miranda...  I'm going after my $1,000, who else is coming?

I received a call from 808 948 9575.  I screen my calls and didn't answer when my phone rang.  No answer was left for my voicemail at all.  I called him back

8089489575 David Sakamoto called my house and I called him back.  He sounded pleasant to deal with.  I let him know who I was and asked him why he was trying to get a hold of me.  He seemed confused and then said that he called the wrong person.  I immediately did a search and found all this info here.  Great info to have.  I'll be ignoring him and will let all know about him as well.

The criminals are spoofing local numbers and using them to call people.  More than likely this gentleman is an innocent party and probably had no clue what was going on.
