Wrong. The method of first contact is not limited or specified. (§ 1692g(a))

The FDCPA has no such restriction. (§ 1692c) Permission to contact alleged debtors has been written into creditor contracts for a long time. "They" in October would be the FCC, which revised the TCPA, a law built primarily to combat junk faxes and telemarketer fraud with very limited application to debt collection.

Debatable. I've made call abandonment part of my FDCPA claims, but not everyone who tries it wins. Judges vary on what they deem "reasonable" call volume and behavior.

This number called me several times even after telling them that my account have been transfer to a different company. I asked them to email me my statement so I can send a check instead of automatic payment but they still continue to bother me.

Keeps Calling and leaving no message.   Probably has my number by mistake since I don’t have Bills or anything outstanding. I blocked their number end of problem. Lol

Got a call from the same guy.

This guy is a jerk had his number on my caller ID so of course I blocked my number when I called him back said his name was David Sakamoto what an aashole probably a scammer because I see other people posting that he uses a different name

Started calling my work and saying it was a “personal matter” To the woman who handles the phones

I just had a call at my job staying his name is Terry Kim he left a message  at my job but he did say wat for...

Sorry mist spell I meant stating his name is Terry Kim and didn't say what for...made a correction ...

This number kept popping up on my phone.  So finally answered as it had a our state area code and he said it was a personal matter.    I said call back and leave a message.  Never did, so blocked the number.
