It's a telemarketer pre-testing their call list.  They want to find the best time to call with a future campaign knowing when you're most likely to pick up.

Computer voice telling me that I won a "free" home security system. Right!

Do Not Call list DOES apply to cell phones, makes sure you sign up for it online at donotcall (dot) gov .  They can be fined thousands of dollars per incident for violating that registry.

Just got a call from this number today and reported it.  Autodialing cell phone numbers is prohibited by the FTC, so whether or not you are on the Do Not Call list, if they called your cell you can report them at donotcall.gov.

Phone disconnected!

A msg was left on my voicemail as if we'd been doing business together. Chipper woman says she found another way to lower something...and this will be her last courtesy call..to reach her call back @ 877-723-1426. Of course I didn't call either # back - screw them, lol (called on my cell phone while I was working)

My number is on the NO CALL LIST...stop these unwanted calls.

Got the same message Courtney.  And I just put my cell back on the "do not call" registry a couple weeks ago.

ha! i answered the first time they called and they were speaking a foreign language, so i spoke french at them, and a man started yelling at me to speak english! That will teach creepy hackers or pranksters or whatever they are to call people in the middle of a rehearsal for important plays!
