Called and left message about me needing to call them.  Who are you and what do you want?  They left name and number to call back and said it was urgent that I call back in the next 3 hours, OR WHAT?  AAA do you work for Ford Motor Credit?  Why are you defending these abusive calls?

A woman calling herself "Tiffany" calls our company looking for one of our employees every now and again.  Apparently, they have long since repo'd this person's car, but they keep calling.  I feel pretty badly for our employee considering they've been having to use a company vehicle for months now as their only transportation.  Because of the economy and the fact that this person is paid on commission only, this person is having a hard time paying for all the basics and is getting calls constantly.  The way I look at it, Ford Motor Credit has already repo'd the vehicle and sold it at auction months ago.  While I understand that our employee is still responsible for whatever the difference is when all is said and done, these loans still have protection built in and it is paid up front when someone finances a vehicle - it is a loss protection for the financing company in case the person defaults on the loan.  Essentially, the Ford Motor Credit has already received money from the protection plan, the auction and they can also claim whatever difference in money leftover (if there is any) as a loss with the IRS and get a break that way on top of it all.  I understand that this person is responsible for their bills and I agree that they should have to take the responsibility of paying what is still owed, but if they don't have it, they simply don't have it and it's not as though Ford Motor Credit has lost any money on it in the long run - they just didn't get as much of a profit as they had expected on that particular loan.  It's just a sad situation with the economy all the way around...

Update:  We are now getting calls on a daily basis this week from different people from this number looking to speak with our employee - I wish that they would stop tying up our business phone and just call the employee on their personal line...

They called today and ask for someone, I just blocked the number so they can't call us again.

I thought Ford was a good company that respects American but I guess that I am wrong.  I keep getting calls on my cell for the person that previously had the number.  I have asked Ford to remove my number for the last 8 months and they will not confirm that they will and continue to call me.  They could not even find the person that they are calling in their system, which makes this pure harassment.

i live in Puerto Rico & just received a missed call from them... WTH i had never bought a Ford in my life. I guess they just missdialed.

I just got a call from 813-740-8600 (Ford Motor Credit) and as soon as I answered he said I am sorry I was trying to reach the (leave blank) and I said you have the wrong number.  He said okay and we hung up.

It was apparent as soon as I answered and he said I'm sorry that he knew he wasn't calling the (leave blank).

If they call again, I will just click answer and then click end call.  I too have never bought a Ford.

Yesterday my brother received a call from this number, inquiring about an individual that he had no clue about. We live in Texas and they were inquiring about an individual who lives in FL. My brother has not lived in FL for 19 years, so what's with this individual from FL that Ford is inquiring about. Hope we don't start getting credit calls for this individual who apparently, (so they say!), listed my brother as a reference. I think this is all so bogus.

This b**** keeps calling me from this number at my job regarding my car. I have told her several times to NOT call me at work, or I will report her. All she says is "I understand, but we have to get this resolved." I told her, "We can get this resolved if you just call my cell phone. I will call you back when I get a chance. So STOP calling me at work." I just hung up on her, & she hasn't called my job since.
If you need to get mean with them, get mean. They are paid to be mean to you, whether they naturally are like that or not, I don't know. But I couldn't get the point across until I started yelling and using bad language with her.

Well AAA based on your knowledge you sound like your a collector or credit person.  There is a special place in hell for collectors.  I got a call about some person I don't even know.  The made some false claim she listed me as an associate of hers whatever the hell that means.  What it means is that I am reporting FMC to the State Attorneys office for harassment and providing false statements.

I have read your tear jerking stories of either your lack of ability to pay or a family member/friend..wake up! you dont pay your bill's collectors call.. this site is a joke!

I do not have an account with Ford Motor Credit. They call all the time asking for someone who does not live in this house. I keep telling them not to call me. There is no one by that name. Then they ask if I know someone by that name. It's rediculous. It's harrassment and I'm filing a complaint with the better businesss bureau.

If its Ford CC, just purchased a vehicle Sunday afternoon the 20th and know heading to my Credit union to drop off a check for the dealership... What a country they make you take the vehicle home before even pay for it.. But I got there ASS...

Please do not call my cell phone...I have nothing to do with the client your trying to reach.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. It was my mother in law calling from her work at Ford motor credit. Had to look it up.

Recieved a missed call from 813-740-8600. When I called back I got a voice prompt asking for acct and SSN info. I hung-up and called Ford credit  directly to verify this. They stated that no one from Ford credit called and that the telephone number (813-740-8600) was a fraudulent call and not to give any personal information.

Do what I do, answer the phone aand then tell them that the person they are looking for was just killed in a police shoot out.  It was REALLY cool to watch!!

They will get the message.

That's golden.  I'm going to use it!
