Claims to be IRS with a lawsuit. I called the number back and someone with a middle eastern accent answered.

Heavily accented voice said they were from the IRS Department.  Texas number
Called repeatedly during 10 minute period.

number similar to family member  who is struggling with cancer so didn't want to ignore

They called me and left a voicemail: "Case file. Immediately call our department number"

I got a voicemail from this number saying that I needed to call back immediately. There was no company name mentioned or purpose of call stated. When I called back, a man with a thick Asian Indian accent said I owed a bunch of back taxes. I told him he can talk to my accountant and lawyer if he wanted... He said "umm... Please hold..." And I hung up. i heard about these IRS scams.

I received a call from 8174404322.  They said in a prerecorded message the I owe the IRS. There was a story featured on the Kathy Lee and Hoda morning show about these scammers. This is a total SCAM don't give them ur money!

l received a recorded  call  from 817 440 4322  saying that the lrs  is  suing me,  thus number does  not  belong to the IRS,

I got this call twice in the past hour. It is a voice activated recording of a woman robotic-tone claiming they were the IRS and that they were filing a huge law suit against me and to call back immediately. I call BULL.

said he was from the tarrant county marshal's office looking for my son. knew the address and his name.
