caller ID reads "ALLSTATE TIM RI" - no message left. Has to be the Tim Rial Insurance Agency in Burleson Texas - I'm happy with the agent I have, so have blocked this number

Call coincides with offer in mail, so apparently excuse of mail is given as legal reason to call.

It's is Tim Rial Insurance Agency (Allstate Insurance)
Trying to send me quotes for Homeowners and Auto Insurance.

Allstate screwed me big time back about 9 years ago on a roof replacement.  They refused to pay what it would cost to replace my roof.  I ended up paying not only my deductible, but an additional $5k out of pocket because their adjuster was a desk jockey in Alabama and not in Texas, where he could come out and speak with the roofer and get the matter resolved.

At that time, I said screw Allstate, and I went out and found much better home and auto at a much lower price.

my call said Allstate All ST so I think this is a hijacked number. Left no message. Based on earlier comments this looks like scam calls hijacking Allstate name so people will pick up. I have no relationship with that insurance co.

Call from someone saying they were with Allstate. Nice and polite person. I did mention I was on the National do not call registry and he said they used a different list (wtf?) but would remove my info for future avoidance.
