This number called my non-published cell phone number.
I did not answer.
I called it back and a recording stated:
"If you want to be removed from this list press #7 now."

I got a call just a few minutes ago. I have a old friend in Texas but they would have texted me since they change their number a lot. I don't answer to numbers only unless you are in my phone book.

My phone said it was from Reno, Texas.

Called back. Gave an option instantly to be removed from the caller list. (Takes up to 24 hours it said)

Spam robo call, offering "absolutely free of charge for you" home security systems.

Called me, no message left. I have caller name ID enabled through Verizon Wireless, their caller ID comes up customer srv.

817-725-8324 called my prepaid cellphone today. This isn't the first time either. And there have been others. When this thing is used up, I am done with cellphones. Why should I buy another phone when all I get is people using up the time trying to sell me stuff I don't want.

Got a call from this number 817-725-8324 on 26 Feb 2014, from Reno TX. I did not answer not recognizing it and assuming there would be a voicemail. NOT. Number blocked. I just don't answer what I do not recognize anymore.

I also just got a call from this number on my AT & T cell phone, didn't answer it

This security system scam calls our office several times on a daily basis from a different number every time.  It always comes up "Customer Service"  Look for these nos.  817-725-8612, 845-208-2911, 646-693-5694, 617-752-2943.  There is a special place in hell for these fu**ers

Robocall scam offering a free home security system if you will give them your cc and your first born.

This call came on 2/26. I didn't answer because I'm a Parrot and can't operate the iPod this number is on with my beak or talons. I have a Pinger phone number that I never thought to list on the DNC registries.
I'm guessing the robocaller started by stating FBI stats on burglaries. We've gotten similar calls from New York and Michigan on our DNC landline recently.

I keep getting brief calls from 817-725-8324. They leave a partial message. This is a blocked ohone number. I want these calls stopped.

Just received call on my cell from these SPAMMY/BOGUS TELEMARKETERS... As usual, they hung up and did not leave a message. I see that many others her & elsewhere have reported this as "Security System Scam calls".

I receive calls from this telemarketing recording periodically.  They come in spurts.  I hadn't heard from this one  for about three months.  Well, they started again.  Received one last Thursday at 12:42 PM and again today at 11:27 AM. These are on my cellphone.   My problem is I get two or three different telemarketer calls a day!  Some I know you can't take care of like charities and political/voting calls or businesses that you have worked with in the past.  I guess I will need to look into blocking those.  

Received a call from these guys and it says "Hello, FBI reports that there is a break-in in your area every 15 minutes. If you let us place a small sign in your yard then we will install the security system for free. The security system and the sign comes at no cost to you. Press 1 for further information press 9 to place on do not call list" . Stupid Jerks. I hate them.....I am on donotcall registry as well.

I find it best to create a "white list" where you list all your known contacts.  Then, if someone calls who is not on your whitelist, you can send the call to voicemail immediately and you won't even hear your phone ring.  These apps also have an option for known spam.  In that case, they simply hang up.  In both cases, your phone doesn't even ring.

Apparently this is an ongoing annoyance for many, just had it ring me up as well.

Stop calling me from this number!  I don't know anyone from Springtown, Texas.  When I answer they hang up!
