Lately, if I get an odd phone call, I just add it to my "foward to the Government Do Not Call complaint line" that I found on donotcall.gov.  That way, the stupid losers can't call me anymore, AND they might get to talk to the feds.  It's the little things :D  

There are some that are getting savvy to the blocks and the fwds and stuff, though.  CURSE THEM!  :D

If you call the number back it will prompt you to hit any number and it will remove you from the list. Lets see if it really did remove me from the call list.

These people called me TWICE IN SCHOOL this was in just 45 mins this is redicilous

Recording that says the FBI reported an increase in home break ins. I assume they are selling home security.

Caller ID showed call was coming from Reno, Texas area. Didn't answer it and no voice mail was left. Have since blocked the number.

I received a call from 817-725-8374 today, March 30, 2014.  They left no message, on call back the machine said press any key to be removed and it would take up to 24 hours.  It did not mention the "name" of the company.  

Unsure of who it is, received this number on CID.

Called and left no message. This is so irritating that they can call you and interrupt your day and you can't do anything about it. They never say anything, then they try to call you later in hopes you will answer. I have all my contacts listed by name and if nothing shows, I don't answer!!!!

This number called my cell phone. I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

Just received 2nd call on my cell from these SPAMMY/BOGUS TELEMARKETERS... Previous call was about 2 months ago. As usual, they hung up and did not leave a message. I see that many others here & elsewhere have reported this as "Security System Scam calls".

This number called me. I answered. No one spoke. I waited, saying Hello, for about 15 seconds. I hung up and then called them back. Recording said to be removed from the list press 7. Naturally I pressed 8. I froze, thinking I just signed up for something else. I hit 7 multiple times after that thinking I could undue my mistake by sheer volume of the number 7. The system hung up on me. I'm now afraid that I just subscribed for someone to hunt me down and take my kidney. Needless to say, I am changing my phone number.

Since the beginning of this year this telemarketer has called me three times.  I didn't pick up this time on my cellphone but I am assuming it is the security service one.  I remember the line about "if you will allow us to place a sign in your yard" blah, blah, blah.  It shows Reno, TX, a small town northwest of Fort Worth, population 3240. This call is about the only telemarketer I have on my cellphone.  I wish I could say the same about my home phone.

This number calls me Atleast once a day. Freaking telemarketer. Scam about home security system.

I have found once I file a complaint with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY folks, 99% of the time, I get no more phone calls.

Yep, called this morning, left no message. Shows TEXAS number. I am thinking of starting to answer these, and play them silly little sounds. If we waste their time... maybe, they won't call back.

Hrm...3 or 4 times people mentioned prepaid/pay-as-you-go/free phones:

I too have a free phone (Lifeline/Assurance). Emergency-only use, 2 people have #, no-one calls EVER, and got it recently...

Yet RANDOMLY, all-the-sudden, out-of-the-blue 817-725-8324 miraculously dials my number and leaves a hang-up/null voicemail...I DONT BELIEVE IN COINCIDENCES!

Might the company be obtaining numbers from/due to being a prepaid-type number?

I received a call from this number on my UNPUBLISHED, PRIVATE, number. I do not know anyone in this area code. This is an invasion of privacy and I called the police and they are coming now.

I got a few calls from this number.They're telemarketers! Ugh... They was saying that some family or friend refer me and that i won a free security system for my house. SPAM SPAM!!
