Got a call around 9am this morning.  When I answered they quickly hung up, went to the net to research this number and as I suspected...probably a scan number.

Interrupted my day, answered the phone and got nothing.  Tired of it.  Ruins any peace I might otherwise have.

SIGN UP FOR THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!  It's a government site that is https and safe.  If any unwanted company that you dont have any business with calls you after 30 days of registering, you can submit a claim. They may have legal action taken against them. https://www.donotcall.gov

Repeated calls to cell phone, automated message saying I won something.  You don't get an opportunity to be taken off their list or tell them not to call you.  No company name to complain about.

They called me this morning.  I called back. I got a live person that thanked me for hitting the '1' button for a live representative.  They then asked me for my name and address.  I screamed very loudly into the phone and then hung up.  I hope I hurt her f*ckin ears.

Called, left no message. PA.

Really getting annoying that the phone companies allow this to continue.  We all know that this could be stopped...but it is revenue for the phone companies so they continue to allow it.

Good advice - however it is useless here.
Most of us are already on the DNC list.
The DNC list only works for limiting legitimate U.S. based telemarketers.
However - the calls being reported here are from criminals (probably foreign) - and they do not honor the DNC list.
The DNC list exempts non-profits, political calls (remember it is a law passed by politicians) and surveys.
Foreigners, criminals and foreign-criminals exempt themselves and consider the DNC list to be a silly joke.

Got a call from this number today.  didn't answer.  Was told once that if you answer, they confirm it's a good number.  I've stopped answering any area code I don't recognize and I seem to be getting fewer of these types of calls.  Don't know if that will help.  But the daily calls have stopped.  Now I, maybe, get one to two a month?

Calls in the AM. Just received one at 9:00am CST. It says please hold you may have won a $100 Walmart gift card. I hung up.

Received a call, with a recording that stated, "Thank you for calling. You may be eligible to receive a $100 gift card for Wal-Mart...", which is when I hung up. I didn't call them, they called me!

I sure wish the phone companies and the FCC would put some effort into stopping these scumbags.

Ha! I have resorted to banging my phone on the desk repeatedly when they answer. Unfortunately, I think it has damaged the speaker in my phone! One of those annoyingly loud air horns would  be nice to have handy when I get calls like this, but I'd have to carry it around with me all the time to make sure I had it ready.

Don't forget to report it to your carrier as spam. Maybe if enough of us did that, they would start to get the message. (probably not...)

All true. Here's another thought - if we harrassed our lawmakers (Senators and Congressional representatives) enough about it, maybe they would take some real action (again, probably not...). After all, they aren't doing anything else worthwhile for us. They spend their time point out the errors of the others, and voting party lines, which means they aren't really voting based on our interests to begin with, but their own.

I think I will go to my next town meeting and ask them what they are doing about spam and unwanted telemarketer calls. Then, they'll go back and pass another law which the criminals will ignore...

I received a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message.  I called back and a recording said I was eligible for a Wal-Mart gift voucher.

Tried to offer a $100 Wal-Mart Gift Voucher. No mention of Company name. No option to unsubscribe. Shouldn't even be getting this call as I am on the do not call list.

"You have been selected..." call.
This should be punished.

Called yesterday and today. No message left.

Keep calling me. Don't want them to call me.
