answered call.  Message said "Thank you for calling".  We had not called so my wife hung up.  Stupid scam, probably.

I had a fun time talking to someone when I called the number back...She first asked for my name, and I said that I didn't hear her clearly when she told me her name. Gail Walters then started telling me about the wonderful $100 WalMart gift card I won and then asked me for my name and for my mailing address. I gave a fake name. I asked if this was an electronic certificate that she could just email me, but of course that wasn't possible. I asked Gail how I won these fabulous prizes, and she told me that I must have made a purchase through one of their over 800 marketing partners. I asked which one of these 800 companies made it possible for me to win these prizes, but Gail didn't know. She asked for my mailing address, and I just let there be silence for a few seconds. Then I asked Gail if there was a supervisor I could speak with, and suprisingly Gail was one of the supervisors. I asked Gail why my request to be taken off their call list was not processes. She apologized and told me that I won because I was a customer of one of their over 800 marketing partners. I asked Gail, again, why my request to be removed from their call list was not processed when I made the request yesterday. She apologized as I continued to tell her that the person I spoke to yesterday hung up when I asked not to be called again. Gail told me that she was putting my number on their do not call list. I asked Gail to confirm the number she has for me, and she did. Then I didn't say anything for the next minute while Gail was doing whatever Gail was doing. She eventually hung up.

Waste my time, and I'll waste yours. :)

Have received numerous calls from this number.  I didn't recognize the number so did not answer.  No message left.

Repeated calls lasting for over a few weeks now, randomly!  

Ugh, how do I make this stop?  I've received four calls from them today.  It's an automated recording saying, "You may have been selected to receive a $100 Wal-Mart gift voucher. Press 1 to speak with a  live representative."  

Have received over 100 calls from (817) 769-6664 in February 2014 alone. Five calls today to my unpublished cell phone number and it's not even 3:00pm EST. Most telemarketers just call to get a live number which they can exploit or sell to others. I never answer. The Do Not Call List is the biggest fraud in American history. The Telemarketing Associations and lobbyists have too much cash and too much clout. The politicians and FCC bureaucrats will never do anything to harm this cash cow.

This number came to my cell. I only answer calls from family. If I won a gift certificate they can mail me information. I might have made the mistake doing a call back survey. You know the kind you get on your receipts. But I would not have given them that number. So I'm thinking it was just a spoof,  spam or someone 'phishing'.  

Called. No message I called back and was told I could get a $500.00 gift card from Walmart for more info I should press one now.. I didn't of course...I believe it is for a security alarm system....because I imput the number and alarm system showed up.

You all must be in your early 20's!!!! The DNC list has been around since the late 90's!!!! When you answer these calls the Scammer knows your number is a live line. They then sell your cell number to many companies making a huge profit. DON'T ANSWER THESE CALLS!!!!! ignore them block them!!!!! THE DNC LIST WAS SLAPPED UP QUICKLY TO MAKE YOU FEEL SECURE!!! You are not that important get over yourselves!!!!

Got a call from that number this morning.  Answered b/c I have family in that area code, thought someone got a new number.  When I answered I heard "Thank you for calling, please pay attention as our menu options may have changed".  Immediately hung up.

This number has been calling me 2-3 times daily.  I finally blocked the call on my iPhone.  Never anyone on the line when I picked up.  I never called back.

Called my cell...I foolishly answered after they called me 12 times...it was a recording re how I could win a gift card blah blah blah...I hung-up and the calls continue...scammers

I have received multiple phone calls from this number.  I blocked it today.

I continue to get calls from this "you have won a Walmart gift card" recording.  There isn't any way to tell them to stop calling.  I am on a do not call list too.

Called my DNC, AT&T cell at 3:20 EST on 02/20/14. I ignored the call as it wasn't in my contacts. No message was left.

Since most commenters said they received multiple calls from this # I immediately blocked it.

Scammers.  Saved number in my phone as Scammer and set to send all calls from this number to voicemail.  This way I won't be bothered.  Still no way to get scammers to stop calling my number though it's important to keep complaining on sites like this.

Called here and left no message. Thank Bush and the GOP for defunding of the DNC Registry.
