Sure there is. Don't answer calls from unknown phone numbers. If they can't speak to you they can't try to scam you. Simple.

Scammers don't care you're on the do not call list. Only legitimate telemarketers abide by it.

Why would you expect criminals to care that something is illegal? They're criminals. Breaking the law is nothing to them.

Some guy called saying he was from Microsoft Tech support telling me my computer was being hacked. I said it wasn't cause it never leaves my sight and he hung up.

Scam caller - continues to call and try and get into my computer

Called and said I was being hacked. I asked them which specific IP address was being hacked and they rattled off some numbers and hung up on me.

818-284-6923 calls me multiple times a day. When I answer, they hang up. I can't wait for the fools to start talking when I have my Call Recorder on so I can screw with them a bit and make them believe they have a sucker on the other end and then end the conversation how they are going to hell for doing this! :)

We all need to come together and report this organization to the FBI for suspicious activity. These people are an organized crime syndicate.

These jack-wagons called my daughter and sucked her in. Mom caught on to the scam and shut it down. We're now changing all passwords, financial information, and running anti-virus scans.  There should be an open hunting season for these @$$holes...!

this number keeps calling trying to sell different services

Kept ignoring the calls I would receive from this number because I don't know anyone from the Northern California area. Eventually I was tired of getting calls during lectures because I am a full time student. So I picked up one day and a male with a heavy accent said he was from Microsoft and he was calling as tech support. I informed him he must have the wrong number. He then asked if this was (my full name) which freaked me and. I replied no and told him I have never called for tech support and again he must have the wrong number. Then he said forget tech support give me a kiss. I responded with again you have the wrong number. He wouldn't stop asking for kisses which is honestly really [***] creepy. So I told him to have a good day and hung up. I figured if I was nice he wouldn't keep calling. Fingers crossed I don't get anymore calls from those creeps.

This number called asked for me laughed and hung up. Strange

Called 4 days in a row,  no voicemail left.

Lol this number called me this afternoon and told me he is from
Microsoft support and that he is calling bc I have a really bad virus on my comp I said ok that's weird bc I don't own a comp 😂😆 he quickly hung up ... this is totally a scam.

They're a bunch of scammers.

Saying your computer is being hacked and you can pay to have them protect your device once you log in for  them.

They said they were calling about my computer and I hung up

Hung up when I question who they were...
