Just got a call tjis morning. Didnt say the company or nature of the call.  Wanted to speak to our attorney right away.

Have been receiving multiple calls per day from these morons. The message was long, and sounded mechanical.

I have never had a payday loan in my life, and I'm certainly not going to be threatened over a nonexistent debt.

There are so many laws broken by these phone calls it would take ma a long time to list them here.

They can go pound sand.

this number keeps calling me saying its a legal matter and very time sensitive. they say they r with legal affairs and investigation

i recived a phone call i didnt recall knowing this number so i didnt answer... but thay left a voice mail and i couldnt put it together dep. of internal investigations??? huh so i started to google and found this. what MADE sence was thay said investigatons dep.to call them then i googled the area code. in calli..!!!... these people must think im dummb cuz if that were tru thay WOULD BE CONTACTING me from the TX department thats where thay messed up.. And i am fully aware of the law and my leagle rights and i am lawsuit CRAZY... IF ANYONE RECIVES A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER ITS A SCAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     THE PORSON CALLING WAS A LADY

I received this call yesterday. They said I was being sued and was going to jail because I owed $470.00 and I could pay it within the next hour to stop legal action. And if I didn't pay that I would have a sheriff come to my house today and be arrested. I have a iPhone and the number came up out of Los Angeles CA. I kinda got the the feeling that this was a fragulent call. So I called LA police department and spoke to a decective in the forgery dept. he googled the numbers for me and confirmed that these people were fragulent. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE money!! If they call you I was told by the decective to tell them that the police are monitoring your phone.

I got a call from this number this morning.  And, they also left a message at my office.  I contacted the State Attorney General's Office and was given, I think, good information.  Everything sounds the same as all of the other posts.  And it sounds like a scam.  I didn't read everybody's post but I was told that I should contact the 3 credit reporting agencies and have a 'fraud alert' put on my 'account'.  Contact my bank also to have them watch for any unusual ACH type transactions.  I was told that I should file a complaint with the FTC at www.ftc.gov.  In addition, I was told that the Fair Debt Collection Act requires a collection agency to send you everything in the mail.  So when they call, if they call again, just say - I do not do business over the phone and according to the Fair Debt Collection Act you are required to send me this information through the mail.  If they call, also ask, where they are located - address, city, state, etc. and who there governing agency is.

Just recieved this call this AM from a mr wilson, a supposed Paraleagal for the Department of something or other (his thick indian accent i could not understand) He wanted my information i told him no and asked what it was in regards to something about a lawsuit against my name and SSN. Anywho i told him i do not give that info over the Phone, he then instructed me to call his Senior Lawyer Michael Carter at 8183373042. I called our Operational Security Folks to inform them of the call (I am active Duty Military). I proceeded to call the number given to inform them that they have been reported to the Department of Defense and to remove my number from their data base, all i got was a voice mail message saying that the Voice mail box was full so i guess i have to wait untill they call back. Any other suggestions?

All you all need to know is it is illegal for a debt collector to threaten an arrest, jail, or the sheriff!

Got this message on my cell and on my work phone, a foreigner claiming he is from attorney affairs, I have an alert on my credit and bank account.  This is a scam since no one has my direct work number.  Back in December I tried to do a loan online, this is where this is from.  Please get an alert on you credit report and bank account.

just gotta call from Jacob Anderson saying im being arrested today,bc i owe for a loan.. funny thing is i've never taken out a loan in my life.. so in return im harrassing them, i called and let them know i called the police and they were gonna be arrested today.. every time i call they hang up or send me to their bogus vm.. but they cant do nothin to me so ill just keep harrassing them like they do everyone else.. i called the police in my city and he told me i have nothin to worry about..

this same number called my cell 3 times today and called my place of employment His name is now Michael George. and i too called the number back and only get a answer machine.

These people keep calling me about 10-15 times per day saying they are from internal affairs and investigation and I owe money for an online loan that I never took out. They have cussed and screamed at me and I am getting tired of the harassing calls.

they keep calling saying I took out an online loan, which I did not and the sheriff is coming to get me. These people call  all day long. It is only 9:00 in the morning and they have called about 30 times

This foreigner called my husband at work and threatened to take him to court, but they didn't give him an exact reason why.  They wanted him to call their attorney.  It has to be a scam.  He hasn't done anything wrong here.  These people are just ridiculousness and they need to stop.

THIS PERSON A WOMAN, WITH A HEAVY ASIAN ACCENT LEFT A MESSAGE ON MY CELL AFTER I ANSWERED IT.  I CALLED THE NUMBER AND WAS TOLD THAT THE MAILBOX WAS FULL AND DID NOT TALK TO ANYONE.   I FEEL THIS IS A SCAM AND I WILL REFUSE ANY FURTHER CALLS FROM THIS PERSON.

This number called accusing me of owing them money. They would not provide any information regarding their company only ask for my information.

I received a call from this number today-stating that I would be arrested tomorrow for an unpaid payday loan that I NEVER received or took out. When I tried to call the number back-it went to voicemail-that was full.The woman asked me for my attorney's information and stated that I was being sued.  They had my personal information-place of employment and SS# which concerns me. HELP!

This numeber called my house and cell phone. Said he was David Miller and I need to call bk and speak to Michael Carter. Said they were with legal affairs and investigation. Wanted my attorneys number. Asked him what it was for and said he could not tell me, he was just a paira legal. the man was indian. i called the number, some women asked and said Michael was busy. So I asked her  why they were calling and she said she could not tell me. I told her you can not tell me why you are threatening me but you want me to call you back. She got rude and hung up on me. I will not be calling these people back. Thank you to everyone for posting I will not be calling these people back either. If they call again I will be telling them I am refferring them to sherris office and my states attorney.

I just received a call  ( voice-mail) from this number for me or my attorny to call to have this matter taken care of,if I didn't they wish me good-luck.
