hi i too just recieved this alarming phone call form James Madden who had a Indian accent from 941-961-8518. He left a nasty message stating i will be very sorry if I do not call him back as this is a serious matter. The cal back number was 818-338-5053.

When I called back I  soie to a woman who did not want to give out her name she said she was the supervisor at the law firm and i was in serious trouble. As i was facing jail time for fraud, crime complaint and the third shedid not say. she said I have to get an attorney as two federal agents willl be coming to my home tomorrow morning as i had to be in court at 11 am.

She said i could pay them 1095.00 right now ti settle out of court or will facing jail time along with fines up to 5487.00.

The scary thing is she had my bank account, my work, my two reference.

I contacted the loan agen i did previously take out a loan for. And she told me please do not worry as my loan was completely paid off. I checked my bank account I DID NOT have any loans from them deposited.

I will be contacting the Florida Attoney General tomorrow as it is now after 5.

This man is a lunatic!!! He is some sort of demented freak that thinks it is funny to piss people off. He was calling me and I called Cashnet and they said I didn't owe them anything. This man though had to have gotten information from someone there at Cashnet. It is a huge scam and I hope the loser gets what he has coming to him! I called the police and made a report to the credit people about him and his scam. I hope he reads English better than he tries to speak it!! He also calls from 941-961-8515

I have been receiving two or three calls a day, all foreign accents, but leaving names like Kimberly,,hard to understand except that I or my attorney needs to call or I will go to jail...made me sick to my stomach.Who can we call about this?

I have had the same thing happening to me, except they are calling my place of employment. not to mention calling my phone every 20 minutes. I am reporting this to everyone that I can.

Just had a threatening call from "Brad Williams". He had a very very heavy middle eastern accent. I saved the voicemail.  I do not know who these people are or what they want. He threatened me and said if I do not call him back bad things will "unfold on me".  

The number he said to call is 818-338-5053.  The number that showed up on my phone was 1234567890.  

This is twice this jerk has called my number. He even called me at work. How the he** did he get my work info!

should i call these people bakc they are calling from several different numbers. can someone help. they are threating cops are coming for me and im facing jail time

It's a complete scam to try to intimidate you into paying them money.  Tell them you'll call the cops on them if they call back, but don't call them!

Wow!!! this is to funny, I received the same phone call today.  I knew right away it was a scam.  I never borrowed money from pay day.  However,  I did tried to apply for pay loan and I refused because the fee was high.


Moving forward, this guy by the name of Eric started to realized his scam was so over.  He stated he was going to send the cops to my house and I said not a problem.  My husband is one too, now want.

How are you going to call somebody and harassed them for something that  supposedly happened a year ago.  Get the hell out of here.  First, if you have all my bank information you can easily withdrawal the money  right out of my bank account.  Secondly, the same way they kept calling me.  I kept calling them back disguising my voice.  Don't get me wrong I was very dismay.  I just got off from work, stuck in traffic and have to deal with a BS call.  

I got home and they call me back (ignored the call).  In the mist of that, I was explaining to my husband want happened and stated it's a scam.  I told him I know, but when you start reading my bank information and social that is a big problem for me.

I can go on all day about this funny situation, but her is some advise.

1. Withdraw all your money from your old account and open a new one.
2. Process a Social Security theft claim along with numbers that are being showed from your phones.
3. Report it to the news station to help others from being scam.
4. Check you accounts daily.
5. Always remember the company will call you first before sending any information to a lawyer.  Get the lawyers full name and check for credentials.  The web is your best friend.  The same way they get your info...you can get theirs too.

Close your old account and open a new.   Identity theft and let the bank know about these people trying to scam money out of your account.

I have received several messages from a so called " felicia jones" with a heavy accent as well.  She has told me to have my attorney contact her or this will get out of control and feels really sorry for me and good luck if I don't return her phone call.  Who the heck are these people??? I will be calling them back today and going off on them.  They have no reason for these phone calls!!!!

I too have been receiving these harassing scary calls. I did contact the Federal Trade Commission who did file a report against them. Everyone should too. It is illegal what they are doing. I was advised to tell them to stop calling and send it to me in writing. FTC also said to let them know if it continues so that they can add to this report. I do not know what they are going to do. Telephone harassing is against the law and someone needs to stop them. So everyone please contact the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau at: FTC: 877-382-4357, they will take a report against them, and the Better Business 1-866-411-2221.

I just filed a complaint with the FCC and their phone company. Since they have the number unpublished I let Pac-West Telecom know that they are harrassing people. They are calling my work number now too.

I received the same message today at work.  Thick accent, unable to clearly understand him, but he said the same thing all of you have heard.  He said I'm not to disregard this call. He said if I don't call back, he "can only wish me good luck with what is about to unfold on me".  He said I'm to call him, or have my attorney call him, immediately.  The number to call is: 818-338-5053.  How can they continue to get away with this?  Scary!

these [***] called my wife running off at the mouth they have her information about a bank accout that was cloed in 06 how could she get a loan in 08 morons had the cops call the number got a voice mail the cops said that if calls persisted that they WOULD be found and prosicuted theses calls are from a cali number but if they call back ill let everyone know how it gets handled

I have been getting phone calls from these people too, they are very hard to understand and had me scared until i called a lawyer and asked him and then i found more reports on these people.  I was dumb enough to give them my debit card number but called the bank when i realized a scam and cancelled the card.  Do not trust these people, this is bull

Im glad i found this site. i have been very frustrated for days now. i cant seem to get a straight answer for this company. They called my job from 914-961-8518 and said to call back to 818-338-5053 Derek Jackson. I called and derek was unavailable. the guy that answered said that he is with a law firm and that i had $300 deposited into my account that i didnt pay. Said that they represent the parent company National Advance Payday.  Said they are the lawfirm. I asked him when did i take out this loan and he couldnt tell me. he said that they are not taking payments but letting me know that i will be sued. He then went on to say that they are taking me to court for $5400 and some change. thats when i hung up. "derek" left the same message for me to about "if you dont call me back the only thing i can do is wish you good luck as something(not sure what he says there) unfolds on you"

I called the payday loan folks that i do owe or that i have had and asked them and the supervisors if they know anything about this company and they said no. My loans were with FastCash USA, EZ Money, Ameriloan, and Payday Loan Yes.

They called my cell then my work. Today he called my work  but this time the id said 000000 and i told him that i cannot have calls at work. he then tried to still talk to me. i told him to get off my line. I hung up. He called back agin and i told him that i would go after him for harrasment and that he is in violation of the FDCPA ( i work in collections, i know). He then proceeded to keep talking to me which is in strong violation. I hung up. He called back two times  later but i was at lunch. he didnt leave a message.

I called them back and the first thing i asked the guy was what company is this. he said he is a lawfirm. He gave a name of Crime Monitor Center.(he spelled it b/c i couldnt understand him) I said who do they represent , he again said National Advance Payday. i then asked him who the attorneys were and he said he's an attorney. i asked if everyone there is an attorney. he said no. So i asked again who are the attorneys handling cases, he said David Walsh and Daniel Bush. i said thank you and hung up.  I tried to search for this information and ended up running across this site. I am going to report them to the FTC b/c they are indeed in violation of the FDCPA (collections act) and I will advise the FTC of this website as well so they can see all the folks leaving complaints about this company. Sounds like the auto warranty scam. yep i got that call too. Im glad they are goin down!

Do not give them any information. If they cant tell you the name of the original creditor then it is fraud. Any if they call your work and they continue to call then you need to report it. Whether it's an attorneys office or not, if they are trying to collect on a past due balance aka debt, then they become debt collecters and they are guided by the rules of the FTC and FDCPA. Dont let them scare you. report it now!

I also received telehone calls from these people, and they are relentless.

Some individual who could barely speak English first called me at my place of employment, he left a call back number 818 338 5053. When I called the number back the number did not even connect. This person also "mentioned something that is about to unfold on me"

I happen to have received a message on my home answering machine with the same number and once again I attempted to call from my " unidentifiable cell phone number" and once again the call did not go through.

The 3rd call telephonce call came a few minutes ago.

The first call where I actaully connect with a person came from someone who could once gain barely speak English. When I told this person I could not understand a word he was saying he put " Jonathan Davis " on.

This person informed me he worked for A National Advance Pay Day Service and that he downloaded information about me and his client was in the process of suing me for Check fraud and email something and something else. He continued to attempt to read from some document and when I informed him I actually have legal representation and he should be talking to that person he wanted the name and number which I supplied.

This Jonathan Davis called back 5 minutes later and informed the number was invalid. I told him he was lying and that he must be some type of scam artist, because if he was a "Legitimate" Attorney he should know that once I state I have legal representation all conversation should stop! I hung up! Took my telephone off the hook and had a nice dinner.

PS. I also sent my attorney an e-mail letting him know what happened!

I also received several calls today, it looks as if this is a new scam setup.

Even if you owe a pay day loan, or any other collectible item you still have rights.

Let's put a stop to this harrasment by notifying you local Police Department, FTC, BBB and any ther organization we can use to put these scammers out of busiess.
