It started on Wed. I had gotten a voicemail on my work phone at 4:44 telling me this was very important matter and I had to call as soon as I got the message.  I didn't call until Thursday and I talked to "Jimmy Mckdel" who had a very heavy asian or indian accent. He asked if I had an attorney and I told him no.  He informed me that I would need to get one.  I asked what all of this was for and he said it's for collection.  I asked what for....He didn't want to give me any information.  Finally he told me we could settle "out of court" for the amount of $1095.00.  First installment was due at 1:00 the same day for the amount $595.00 and the second amount of $500 on the 29th of June.  He even went as far as telling me word for word a letter I had to type, have it notorized and fax it within the hour or we would still go to court.  On the letter, he was wanting me to put my debit card number.  I asked him for verification of who he was due to it being a lot of money and the only verification he had was Social Security number and my account number. (I haven't used this account on any loans)  After 1:00 passed, he called and was very upset because he needed my permission to take the  money out of my account. I asked him for his Federal Tax ID and he didn't know what that was.  I told him every business in the US has to have a Tax ID, he said "this is not a business, it's a Law Firm".  At this point he was getting upset.  I told him every company in the US has a Federal Tax ID...once again, he said "this is not a company this is a Law Firm".  I yelled at him and told him I would talk to the loan company directly and hung up on him.  As of right now, he has yet to call me again.  He said the loan company's name was National Advance and his "Law Firm" business is called Law Firm of Crime Monitoring Center based out of CA.

"Jimmy McKdel" also said they were gonna come to my work and investigate me and they would take my references to court as well.

There are plenty of laws that these FAKE DEBT COLLECTORS are breaking.

I have read this whole site, the same thing word for word happened to me! It is ridiculous these scum bags can do this to people. I filed complaints to the Attorney General, FTC and FBI. I got a call at 6:20am this morning??? I called them back said i was pissed off, I know they are scammers and I was recording the call. I also told them i have a husband who is a cop and they started stuttering and back pedaling..lol..he hung up on me twice. Havent heard back..maybe he got the point! SCAM SCAM SCAM

This all started last week Thursday, when I recd a call from Rox Murphy @ 818-338-5053...He stated that I owe money and need to get an attorney right away.....I could settle the amount I owe with him and will not have to worry about anything....Unfortunatly I was so scared that they got me for $450.00...I found this site and kicked myself that I did not do more research in this matter..They called me back tody and told methat my credit card was declined and I had to provide the money now...Since I found this site ...I cancelled my card ...filed with the FBI and FCC...I also recd calls from a Jacob Morrison...Ryan (no last name given)all are calling from the same number...it shows up as 1234567890 or 810676161 or 818-338-5073 or 415-200-0255 they give you a number to call back 714-333-2956---the name of the so called company is "Cyper Crime Division" or Federal Legistation of Crime or they stating that they with a Law Firm....

I am getting a call from a "Brad Williams".  It's odd because the accent seems to be of Asian/Indian decent.  The caller always leaves a message negativily stating that I better call back immediately or else legal action will be taken against me.  I paid off a great deal of my debt over two years ago so I have no idea what this debt could be.  I just want to make others aware of this if indeed this is a scam.

This is a very stressful matter.  But. . . is there really a need to be offensive.

If you want the calls to stop - you have to tell them you know it's a scam and have filed complaints.

WE all need to file a complaint with the department of corporations.  You can get a form downloaded, fill it out and send it.  The website is corp.ca.gov.  

Let's all get these freaks put away!!

This is so crazy!! The same exact this happened to me today except for they told me when and on what day I did the loan (which my bank has no record of) and that someone was going to come to the address provided and service me with the case files. When I ask for the number to National Payday Services Mr. Victor Gibson said that he couldn't provide me with that information because it would cause a conflict between his company which is the Law Offices of Crime Monitoring and National Payday Services. It's funny that when I went to the website for Crime Monitoring the numbers didn't match up. It is also funny how they are clearly foreign but have American first and last names. My account has been closed for months but it's scary because they have my account number and everything. This is truly a scam!!!

called on June 26th both at work and my home phone number. My husband anwsered the telephone, person identifed himself as Eric Jones, however had
a very foreign accent and that I needed to call him as soon as possible regarding a legal matter of a loan. My husband could not get him to tell him
any info on the loan or was the legal matter was, just that i had to call
818-338-5053 as soon as possible to avoid further legal action being taken.
we do not have any loans to national payday loan and never have.

I also have received 5 calls from these scammers. It was very hard to hear him and he said he name was Mr. Jackson or Mr Jenkins. (very strong accent - maybe from India).  I hung up on him and he called again - 3 times. They called again yesterday, on Friday, and told me to be with my attorney at the court house on Monday.  I told him I did not owe anyone any money.  He told me if I ignored this call, "good luck" and "God have mercy on my soul".  Then he continued to say the police would be coming to my home to take me to jail.   Pay up or else. On my last conversation with this guy - I told him I was calling the police and then I hung up on him.   The caller ID changed for each call.  He told me to call his number at 818-338-5053.  This number is registered to a company in Agoura, California.    I attempted to call this number and it is always busy.  I also attempted to call the cell phone 914-961-8518 and cell phone 310-439-5382.  Both numbers are verizon cell phones numbers which are no longer in service.  In addition, in the background, it sounded like a call center.  VERY STRANGE.  

I reported the issue to the secret service in Las Vegas and to Verizon wirelss.  Verizon has received over a hundred complaints and all complaints are being handled by their fraud department.

We need to stop this form of harrassment and get these people!

I didn't get the call a friend did and the return number was 415-200-2068. They told her to show up at court with $300 or she would be arrested. She told them off and then when her mom called to mess with them her number had been blocked. Her mom then called from her own cell phone and told them she was the attorney for her daughter they also blocked her number.

Just to mess with them, I called from my cell phone and when the guy answered I let loose on him telling him I was with Homeland Security and I was coming to their offices to put them in Gitmo. I screamed all kinds of curse words offending as best I could. Yea, sorry to say called him a few racial slurs as well.

was calles on 7/17/09 and threatened that California superior court had my case and i was being sued and brought forth on fraud charges and so on. i immediately called police in ky and was told if there were actual arrests warrants, they wouldn't call on my cell. they also threatened good luck and may god have mercy on my soul. was called 25 times in all, but no more calls today. my caller id showed up with the number 810-676161, which is not a real number was told to return call at 951-643-4357, which is a riverside california number. did my research and found out about this site. wanted to share my story for others.

I also got a call from them stating that they were going to sue me and that i owe $300.00 on a payday loan the man's name is Shawn and he called from (323)352-3642 and a (714)598-4241 he than told me that if i didn't pay by 11am i was going to get picked up and taken to court along with my two reference i asked him to fax me the information and they hung up but for the next 4 days he continue to call. The collector he said was national advance paydy.

Now i'm getting the same calls from an unknown number they told me my ss# my dl# the bank that i use to have  the guys name is Mark Jackson saying he's a lawyer and i was being sued for a payday loan for $940.00 and if i don't pay i will be taken to court in the state of Washington forgien accent could not understand nothing he was saying i asked him for the information and he just keep talking and talking until i just hung up

I received a call from this number today.  They say they are a Medical Supply Company and want to refill my prescription for cpap supplies.  I use a local company, thank you very much.  Stop calling me! Ugh!

I received a call from this number 12 times in the last 3 days. I finally caught up with him and it sounds more like Indian accent. This company is a FRAUD!!!! Informing me my Payday loan is about to go into default. I informed him I have never had a Payday loan. He informed me that God Almighty is going to cast down upon me...well son when he gets here ask him if its his loan cause it's not mine. He spewed some other god fearing lines, I guess we now know where they are sending all the pedophile clergy... Anywho I stopped messing with him for a moment and said ok ok you got me send me the paper work and I will have my lawyer look it over and if it looks good then ok. Oh no you must send money today. Drastic actions will happen if I do not comply, courts lawsuits and loss of job. I ask how much was the loan for ....10,000.00, I laugh soooo hard, Dumba$$ you need to work on a more acceptable figure. Because you are trying to convince me you gave a 10k loan at a place that is called Payday Loans? I hung up... Im still laughing.

Same thing happened to me!!!  I told them to serve me the papers certified mail and I haven't seen the papers yet - it's been almost a week. I reported them to the FTC, Attorney General, and local PD.  They just called on my cel 1-818-338-6019. They have called the following numbers:

FTC and FBI state these calls are a scam!  Can't wait until these creeps are caught and bought to justice!

The ones callin me sound like Americans...but they got the same scam goin.."you owe - pay now or else we gonna prosecute you...servin you papers notice of intent to apper in court prosecuting you for check fraud ! etc. "

Creeps calling from all kinda numbers Mr Walker, George Spangler, Roger Warsaw, amoung other inaudible fake names say they collecting for pay day lender (each time give a different payday lender Ace, Quick Cash, or won't say).  Female clearly speaking english called and left message that I've been "officially notified and good luck cause they takin the matter to the next level"  whatever that means!!!
