got a call from this guy says he is from Computer Maintenance trying to get you to go a Web page to load a virus on your pc I told him he sounds stupid he began cursing at me I had to laugh and told him better luck scammmg someone else and then he hung up on me.  

Have been receiving calls form 818-493-1971 the past 3 weeks from thus number. We leg it go it voice mail they never leave a message, today I answered so sick  of them calling he sad he was from some computer/software company. I ask him to stop calling this number. We will see!

I have been getting a call from this number as well.  A guy with an Indian accent ..I think he said his name was Nathan I really couldn't hear him but when I told him to remove me from his call list that I wanted nothing he was offering he got very rude so when I told him he was being rude he began to argue with me ..I told him to please quit arguing and remove me he then told me I was a very rude person and hung up on me

This number has called before.  My wife asked previously to be put on the do not call list.  They called today and she politely asked why they were calling after she had requested to be put on the do not call list.  A man with an East Indian accent said, "because I want to press your breasts."

Keep getting this call. Automated. When I answer it says "good bye"? Who and where is this annoying call coming from? I want it stopped immediately!!!!!

I got it as well.. something about my Windows operating system is not working properly.. some India scam.. hang up!

I received numerous calls the past few days.  Tired of it, I answered to see what it was about.  It was the exact same scam reported in Computer World.  Don't fall for it!

I just got off the phone with this scammer, when I would not do what he wanted with my computer, he then said he was going to send a signal to destroy my computer!!!!!!!   OMG NO!!!!!!!! When I laughed at him and called him a dumbass, he started trash talking and using vulgar language, I hung up and he called me back and continued his filthy language and when I asked him if he was petting his pee pee and licking his computer screen he hung up and has not called back !!!!!! Dont piss with this Grandma, Im not afraid of anyone with an Indian accent who calls himself James Brown

Called today and I knew it was junk, but I answered anyway. I said hello, and no one said anything then after about 30 seconds the line hung up.

He wanted to talk to main computer owner - did not respond to questions like "is my computer leaking information over the internet" or what kind of computer do I have"  He was from the computer maintenance  dept - call was from CA - but bounced from India, judging by accent

Indian accent...man was a pig..said some very vulgar things to me. Called my home five or six times in a row. The last time I told him my local police department was tracing the call. What an ass, hope he comes down with EBOLI!!!!

Why don't we just pull all of their freggin green cards, ship their [***] home and launch a view cruise missiles up their ass.  Or better yet!  Get the Chinese to do it, they hate each other anyway

I received several phone calls from this number yesterday.  the last call came after 9pm and woke us up.

Keeps calling my house multiple times a day and when I answer it an automated voice says goodbye and hangs up.

Got a call today and the guy started with the Windows bit and then got verbally sexual on the phone. Absolutely disgusting!!! Does anyone have the name of the company as I would love to report to the police.

The phone rang about 6 times today from the same number.  I finally picked up, the guy said he was from the Windows Service Center and they had been getting alerts about my windows computer.  I played along for a bit and he got frustrated.  At that point, he got vulgar.  I hung up.  He called back to continue his vulgar comments.  I told him if he called me again that my next call would be to the police and hung up.  Then I blocked the number.  

I also keep getting calls from this number, no one is ever there.  I tried to call it back and i get a recording that the number is no longer in service except i keep getting calls from the number.  It is driving me nuts, good reason to eliminate my land line.

Get upwards of 5 or 6 calls to my landline from this number daily. Definitely, Indian accent re they're going to fix my Windows or my computer. Talked twice. First time I asked for removal,.they hung up.
Second time I started to talk they hung up. Last time I just held the phone to my ear in silence, a taped recording just said "Good bye."
What can they REALLY be getting out of this?

My experience similar to above; multiple calls, Indian accent, some gibberish about Microsoft Windows - wanted to verify my name.  When I refused to give it to him and was adamant that the person identify himself - he responded with vulgarities.

I received about 7 calls about 5 of which said good by and hung up and about 2 that said hello.  I reported the possible harassing calls to learn that the calls are coming from an alleged scammer.
