Received call at 7:30am pst; did not answer, no message left. I'm in LA and don't know anyone with an 818 area code.

Called again - blocked again - our phones do not ring when a block call comes in - blocked forever

CID said California Call. An hour later a Private caller and an hour after that UNBOUND 20882. Probably all the same scammers but I don't answer any of them.

"Bridget" calling with a new "secondary" number after I blocked their "primary" number that called several days ago. I normally don't block Carmen, Heather and Brigit because it's easier to recognize the same number calling again and again, but this time I was curious to see what other numbers they use so I can see what other callers report on this web page.

The recording of this "lower your rate" call is exactly the same past calls but from a new number to avoid call blocking. The recorded message is their usual patter (see below) and I love "Brigit's" accent when she says "thank you" (it comes out closer to 'think you').

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of their latest offering:

[female voice] "Hello, this is Bridget with Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 1%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press the number 3 to discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

[pause then disconnect when I didn't make any key selections]

The number that showed up on my caller ID and TV was V0407183050034.  Then when I checked the CID the 818.925.6385 number appeared.  So it's now blocked.

I notice that these calls come in batches.  I've not heard from Rachel or whoever in several months, but now I've had 4 calls from that many different numbers in about a week.

Called today... no message. Blocked!

I stopped answering these types of calls and they decreased by 80%.  Hope that works for you too.

I just got one of these calls today. Have received them frequently over the past couple of years. I have reported them to National Do Not Call Registry and have blocked the call. But, they continue on...using a different number. Criminals, all!

WRONG - force our "so called" representatives to require that the FCC do their job.  These calls can be traced - yes, even spoofed IP addresses.  The Federal Government does have the capabilities they just don't give one whit about us.  Why should I spend my money to buy a call blocker when I already pay for the phone line and the phone companies already have this capability.  Just another point where the FCC falls down on the job they are paid to do.

Received a call from the above telephone number. Caller did not wait long enough for the answering machine to grab the line. Called the number back including the *67 prefix.  Reached a recording saying that my call could not be completed.  Caller ID said "Sunderland CA".

This number calls my phone several times a week - sometimes several times a day.  I don't answer when I'm home, but I always have a message.  This is a real pain but nothing more than that since I don't answer.

Robo call from Brigitte at Cardholder Services.  BLOCKED

Constantly getting calls about 2nd and final notice to reduce credit card interest rates.  Pressed 1 to speak to someone.  Requested being taken off list and was hung up on. Repeated on next call but played interested. Was transferred to another person. Asked company name and phone number.  Was told they were Bank Card Services and there was no number to call back on.  Asked why they were calling if I am on a do not call list.  Was told they do not have a list. Asked to be taken off list and guess what.... hang up. Tried calling back on *69 but call could not be put through. Criminal. Can't anything be done!!!!
