Calls leave a voice message heavy accent
Saying
“Hello hello hello” stays on 22 seconds each time

They called me, number identified as “United States”.  I rejected the call.  Moments later my husband received a call from the same number, also rejected.  And  now blocked.

This number calls daily, sometimes several times daily.  The number is blocked by my phone and by Hiya, an APP on my phone.  The calls do not get through to ring me, so I cannot answer the calls and no messages are left.

I have received several calls from this number. No message is ever left so I have no clue of the source.

Three calls from this number to my cell: Two of them a few days ago and now another today. Phone's CID says "Unknown." Of course I don't answer them. All three hung up without leaving a message.

It's jefferson capital trying to collect a debt for verizon which should be classified as fraud. In my case wanting $380 dollars after accidentally cancelling my service with them 1 day early instead of just billing out to the final day of the "contract."

This number is a collection agency

At 12:58 pm 2-23-2023 I returned an unsolicited call back to 833-226-7972.

I used *67 to conceal my identity, and a native continent of India person came on the line saying this call is being recorded and I said what is the name of McLelan this business that evidently called my phone and after asking him politely several times, he stated it was "Jefferson Capital services revealed it was "Jefferson Financial Services".

*67 does not work on toll free numbers. Why is this a pure scam?
