They just called me on Friday and said they were sending to my home courthouse and would be delivered to me at my address on Tuesday. And she called out my full address saying that I will be sued unless I comply with them

This was SO HELPFUL!!!

I just called after receiving this exact scam voicemail “Texas state processing unit”, which I don’t even think exists. I never heard of this place while in law school. I called the number they left in their message and no one answered, but then a man called back. I was reading this comment while answering the phone and asked for the attorneys state bar license number and the state the attorneys are registered in. The guy said he wasn’t giving me that information. I asked why and he said “because you don’t need it.” I responded “I do that way I can verify this is a legit law office” and he hung up on me.

The law office used was “Franklin and Reynolds” and was told they are located in Virginia. The man who called me said his name was Phillip. I’m waiting to see if they call back with a bar license number so I can research the attorney office and then confirm through their listed number.

Thank goodness I read this comment as it means I can confirm the details and whether or not an attorney has filed anything against me.
