I called them back and says it’s Shaw

Called me saying that fraud was detected in my amazon account and they would suspend my acct if they didn’t hear back from me. FRAUD

They call and just immediately hang up.

Called to say they're from Rogers/Shaw, wanted to talk to me about my internet and tv account, had my name right but didn't have the right address, he said to ignore the call.  Very suspicious due to having phone # and name right, but address wrong, were they trying to fish for info?

As soon as I answered and the caller, with a very heavy accent (most likely Hindu)  identified themselves as Rogers together with Shaw I hung up.  Didn't give them the opportunity of telling me fraud had taken place on my Amazon account.

This number called me saying they were from Rogers/Shaw and my contract was expiring.  No so for another 5 months.  Blocked the number.

Called saying they were form Rogers with Shaw, said my cable plan was expiring. After talking amounts & services, I told her to send it in writing so I can review it later. She asked me what my email address was, I told her to read me off what they had since I don't know if you're form Shaw.  She said I can't give that out without verifying it with you ....... clearly a scam caller.

Its a scam, those son of a guns almost took me for $200 and an additional $15 for every month of the year!

Called to say that my current level of internet service will no longer be available and my monthly cost will increase $9. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and of course, no one is available. Said they will call. Never did! This is a spam looking for vulnerable victims. Do not respond to this phone number.

Horrible.  How did you think it was a Hindu!?  India has every kind of religion.  To accuse and think it was a Hindu is ignorant.  Fraudulent people are in every religion Hindu or not.   I would never say without knowing for sure that it  was  Christian, Buddhist, Muslim etc.

They call weekly it shows up as rogers so i reluctantly just tried calling it and after it rings it’s just silent
Probably somehow hacking my information as I wait listening ha ha. Luckily I literally don’t have a cent to my name

It is not recommended to put chin straps on a tinfoil hat, as it puts extra pressure on the tinfoil and tears, causing leaks. That might be why your imagination has gone off grid.

I had the same - Rogers/Shaw, said my two year internet plan was expiring. She asked if I could tell her how many people use my internet, and I told her no, then she hung up on me. Why would Rogers/Shaw want to know that, and how is that their business?  Probably a scam.

833 numbers the recipient pays fir the call!
I didn’t pick up phone as recently scammed. Checked this site for comments.

Use to be BC tel now it is Roger’s or Shaw…..I use BC Tel Call Block  for these scums…it works good …calls don’t come thru but the app shows the trying
