I got this same call today and the man who answered the 833-821-0238 number had the last four digits of my social security number and I was saying threatening things like I needed to enjoy my driver's license and full wages while I have them because they're going to take everything from me. He also stated he was with a company out of Buffalo, New York by the name of Webster, Monroe, and Associates but I can't find any information on this company.

A restricted number has been calling me stating he needed to serve me papers, but he didn't want to. He said for me to avoid being served the papers I needed to call 833-821-0238 and give them a case number the restricted caller provided me with. I called the number, and gave them the case number. The man on the line stated he was with a company out of Buffalo, New York called Webster, Monroe, and Associates. The man asked me to verify the last 4 numbers of my social security number before he could discuss the issue at hand. When I refused to verify my social security number, the man began threatening me, and telling me to enjoy my driver's license and full wages while I had them because they're coming everything I have.

If you looked it up on Google Maps you may have missed the fact that there is a UPS Store at that address.  UPS Stores are a favorite of lower than slime debt collectors and other scam outfits, since they can rent "suites" (mailboxes) to make their "business" seem "legitimate".  In this case 1623 is the street number of the UPS Store and 863 is the number of the "suite" this outfit rents within.
This outfit is muck and mire at the bottom of the sea fishy.

Investigator "Barnes" said he was coming to my home or/and place of business to serve me with court papers, that I was a defendant etc and to stop this from happening to call the 833-821-0238 not calling will see if he shows up

No one is going to show up because this is a scam. REAL process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the option to pay yourw ay out of being served, which is what this scammer will tell you if you call back. Just block and ignore such calls if you can.

Got the same call. This time it was a Mr. Derrick Mason. Tried calling back but received a generic voice mail response. Complete scam. This time of year these people come out of the wood works trying to sucker money from poor unsuspecting people!

Received call from investigator Davis a local courier to serve summons to my son.  Listed case number.  This was voice mail.  Call 833-821-0238.  Called number.  Asked them to stop calling me.  Told me to put it in writing.  Asked for their address...took him awhile to find address...stated it to be Webster Monroe and Associates Law firm, 1623 Military Rd # 863, Niagra Falls, NY 14304. Did a search ...no law firm by that name...the address is a UPS store.  In doing research it looks like these scammers buy list of prior debt owed by individuals and try to scare them into paying up......my son has received these types of calls for years with no summons ever being delivered.....the man at 833-821-0238 was loud and rude and kept interrupting....you can check local court to see if there is court summons out.

Received call from a private number, a voicemail was left from "Investigator Edwards"  with the local county couriers service. Said he's scheduled to serve me with a court summons on November 19th and to avoid it I need to call 833-821-0238 so they can send him a stand down order. Also gave a bogus case number C1396. I've received a summons before, you don't get notification it's coming you just get served or in my case in was in regular US mail.

Man said he was an investigator-a summons to appear in court had been issued for me and they would show up at my house or work - gave me this # 833-821-0238 to call-He said this was an attorneys office and he did not know what the summons pertained to.

It’s a scam I also got the same call unknown and they gave me a number to call.. and an address that is not valid.. report this calls to your appropriate agency

We just don't do business like that.

We're not going to talk about legal stuff on the phone with anyone other than our lawyers. We're not going to accept service of process by anyone other than the local sheriff's deputy. We have no intention of paying illegal bribes to avoid due process, and we won't engage in contentious conversations with anyone. No hard feelings.

This call is bogus, and we will block all their numbers henceforth.

This number called my ex-wife.  Told her that I was being  served court papers to my home or job on November 26. Told her to have me call 833-821-0238 so I wouldn't be served. Then said  good luck.

Same as everyone.  a call with a name close to a relative.  Mumbo jumbo about a court case and petition being served on Monday.  Seems very much like a scam.  Did not return call.  If the Courts in USA want you they know how to find you and serve you with papers.  They don't let you know what day and time you are being served.

Getting a call from a Mark Edwards stating they are going to served me with papers.  He said that I took out a loan from EZCorp in 2012 and it's 2018.  Informed him to send me the information so that I can send it to my uncle who is a lawyer.  He kept talking over me and said that He will see me on Monday.  Had calls like this before and I told them the same thing.  Never got a call again.  They also do this during the holidays

Got a call today saying I should call 833-821-0238 telling me to call back or I will be served a summons at my home or work.

Got a phone call from a "no caller ID" number and when i picked up he asked for me but my maiden name. I proceeded to say that is I and he told me he is a PI Craig Mccormack. He then proceeded to tell me that he is has been to my address 2 times (which i haven't lived there in over 8 years) and said that he is trying to give me court papers.He gave me a 5 digit case number and the phone number 8338210238 to call and discuss this matter. I asked him for a badge number and told me since is a PI he doesn't have that. I then asked him what company is for and he couldn't tell me which it is in a sealed file... He said that he would be serving me this Friday and if I was not home then he would go to my place of business. I asked him where that was and he didn't have that information at his fingertips. I told him that this is a scam and hung up.
