Got the following text (first part):
"MSG on behalf of PA Turnpike, MSGs may be monitored/recorded."

No ID  - Just the phone number.  Obvious scam.  Blocked it.

Got this today. Seems to be BS. Will call VADOT on upcoming week. “MSG on behalf of VADOT; MSGs may be monitored/recorded. For details tap https://www.dspayments.com/VDOT Use Vio# VF2000313382 to receive balance info, reply YES. To OptOut reply STOP”

Said it was VADOT. Highly likely it was a scam. My caller ID just said Duncan

I do not have one so this is most definitely a scam...

Definitely a scam. Claims I owe $1,105.25 that can be paid in installments of $108.35. The only tolls in my area are certain bridges and tunnels. Since I get anxiety driving across bridges and tunnels, I avoid them like the plague. I have no clue who is actually sending these bogus texts.

I've gotten the same text other people here mentioned.. "this is vdot monitored/recorded yadda yadda" with a link to "check my balance". They have texted me 4 times.. once a month.  If you Google it there are articles of vdot warning people of phishing scams so I'd advise against clicking the links. I haven't clicked any of them so I can't tell ya where they go but I doubt it's anywhere good.

Received this text message stating Texas Toll Authority.

Just got this today saying it was from NTTA. Def think it is fake

I’ve been getting non stop texts as well. I don’t even live in north Texas nor did I take the tolls the day they claimed that I did . It’s a scam , I reached out to the toll people.

Received text on behalf of PAM. Did not open and deleting.

It must be scam if it pertains to tollway as i have no car and no drivers license.

Looks like this is a scam hitting different states at a time. I received a message today, 3/31/2022, stating "MSG fron PAM on behalf of North Texas Toll Aut: Getting a tax refund? Why not pay your outstanding balance? Reply YES for bal and additional info. To OptOut reply STOP.
I don't live anywhere near a toll road and I don't travel them, at all.

It’s a scammer the toll authorities will never text you it’s all done by mail. I’ve gotten 5 texts from this number as well.

Of course its a scam trying to dump it off on people who have no cars or never drive tollways. Hoping they get caught.9

This is a text I received from this number. I don’t have an outstanding balance on my account. Going to delete immediately.

Same experience as other. Collecting for Texas toll authority. I am sure glad I found this site!

833-836-9803 texts requesting view of invoice or payment for NORTH TEXAS TOLL AUT.   my mom received this and she does not even drive!   scam,  and should be reported as scam likely and deleted/arrested or shut down.

Same experience. Said from north texas authority. If you open claims to monitor so do not. I do not believe this is correct phone number as it matches an individual. I have no car, have not driven in years and i never drove the tollway.
