Texted me from a different number stating they’ve been trying to reach me about an account. They used my name and left a reference number and asked me to call them back at this number.

same as above leaving a ref number TOTAL SCAM!!

Same for me. It’s a scam they said the company was Bradley and Weinstein

They said contact me several times and have me a reference number and phone number. This has been going on for about 1 year.

They texted me with a maiden name and some bogus reference number stating that they’d tried to contact me several times? Yet the text is the only time I’ve heard from them?

They are texting from 855 459-1138

First off my name isn't 'Ron', though they did get my last name correct.
Second they texted same to both my cell phone numbers, personal and business phones.

They clearly performed some sort of name search on cell phone numbers and came up with a similar name to the one they are actually searching for.
I had have ZERO collections on ANYTHING in over 24years. Last one being a non-billed $20 medical co-pay in 1996. Whatever they are looking to 'collect' for is at least 25 years old.
They are most likely one of those parasitic collections outfits that buy up very old debt that can NO longer be collected legally or affect a persons credit in anyway.
They are blocked and ignored! No doubt they will acquire a new phone number to attempt to scam me and us all again soon.

Most definitely a scam - this is their first (and hopefully last) contact.
