Same as everyone else. Text with my name and a reference number saying they have been trying to contact me. BLOCKED!!!!

I just got the same text with a reference # to call 877-203-5646. They have never reached out to me before as they claim. Are these people sending out texts to a large number of people.  So glad I checked to see all of your replies. Thank you. Will block the number.

Total scam they contacted a friend of mine true Facebook text they claimed they were easy cash loans. Never heard it. Claimed they were something in Weinstein collections what a scam

Several attempts to contact me and to call them they have given me a number and account number. Yeah right I am not going to call them. They need to get a real job.

Sent me a text message and said they have been trying to contact me about account “....” and to call them back at this number. They used my maiden name though and I’ve been married for 7 years.

Received much the same message via text.  I’ve never seen this number ever. Funny how all of us are receiving it at about the same time.,

The same text came to my son’s phone on my account using my former married name. Total scam!

I just had the same experience...I figured it was a scam but i wanted to look up the number to be sure

Recieved exact message today, stating their office has been trying to contact me and left a reference number. All of us during same time, sound suspicious.

1st time hearing from this #.
This message is for ________. Our office has made several attempts to contact you. Please call us back regarding *reference number* at 833-850-9296

They just sent it to me as well!

I received the same text that everyone has reported on here as well.

SCAM!  I called and they had my name and last 4 digits of my SS#.  Heavy accent... Saying their "client" has a complaint against me for EZ Cash.  I said you are a scammer, bc I have never had anything like that and hung up.

Same, they called then sent text with the same exact text message.

They did same to me

I got the text message today with my name, a case number, and a call back number. I am assuming scam because I have zero debt aside from student loans. Nice try!

Just received a text message from 877-203-5646 addressed to my previous last name stating that "Our office has made several attempts to contact you. Please call us back regarding 'ref#' at 833-850-9296. I just cleared up EVERYTHING on my credit report, so I know I don't owe anyone anything.
