There is your problem.  Not only did you call them back, but you did it several times.
Since this is an 833 (toll free) number, they know what number you called from (multiple times) and thus what number to call you back on (blocking your Caller ID information does not work with toll free numbers).
If you had just ignored them, they would have given up after a short while, but you called back and now they think you are a possible victim for their scam.

scam - dont believe any of this

Same here. They were tormenting me for months and months when it finally stopped shortly after it started again and now they’re asking for somebody named Connie on the messages they relentless phone calls and texts. I’ve almost been fired from my job because I can’t get phone calls from my boss not knowing which call coming would be his. I ignored them because they would come one after another.
So mad about this if there’s a way to make it stop someone please recommend it.
