This number text me from Gemini Security 3:20am saying here's my security code, don't share. I haven't signed up for anything new and I did not open.

Got 2 back to back texts (1 minute apart) from this number that said: “Your SMS verification code is: XXXXX” — which made no sense since I was just sitting quietly and reading, and thus hadn’t joined anything within any recent time frame, nor was I trying to log into anything at the time. 15 minutes later, I got a 3rd text saying the same thing, only this time the verification code was different and then a few minutes later got a FOURTH text.

If it happened only ONCE, I might have chalked it up to someone trying to log into something, who has a similar phone number, who accidentally mistyped the number (hence the verification came to me). But to have it happen a 2nd, 3rd, and even FOURTH time — which included a 15 minute gap where the person wouldn’t have gotten their code and should have realized they had mistyped the number, and thus would have made sure that they got it right the next time — makes this 100% suspect of criminal behavior. And thus this smells of someone who’s pulling a scam and phishing for active phone numbers and ultimately trying to hack / break into something.

If you get the text, ignore and delete immediately.
And block the number.

Received many messages from this number. States that Womply sends me verification number XXXXXX. I don't know who they are. I never contacted them. I responded one time that I am not the person they are looking for and they replied with a curse. However, they continue to send messages, although I blocked this number

The number texted me at 12:34pm EST exactly with a “Clubhouse” verification code. I don’t even know what clubhouse is. i blocked it. i wouldn't reply if you get a message from them.

Received 2 texts stating it verification code.  This is a scam because I did not request a code.

Your Womply verification code is 097114. I don't have any accounts with Womply and have no idea who they are.

This number just texted me out of the blue asking for me to input a verification code for my bank account! However, I never requested a verification code therefore I immediately reported the number as spam and contacted my bank and told them to be on the look out for fraudulent transactions. Furthermore, I did not input the number into my two step verification for my bank account but hackers are very clever and will find away

trying to get into my Coinbase account

they were texting. me at 1 am saying my Coinbase account password and settings had been changed then there was a code like they were trying to access into my account so I contacted Coinbase and locked the account

Texted my partner’s number saying it’s a verification code for Twitch.  Does NOT match the same numbers he always gets from the 2-step verification request.

Not from Coinbase! Looks suspect!

This number was used to give a verification code for Coinbase to hack into my account
