Red Flags..
1. Recorded voice, but when naming the person they are calling a computer generated voice says the person's last name then first name.
2. They say the person has done something illegal and goes on to say their client will pursuing the legal matter or the person can call this number back.
TOTAL SCAM.
Don't fall for it.

Received call from +1201-594-6428 advising me to call 833-969-2769 re a time sensitive case in their office (no business name given). Case # was given but after looking up the 201 area code # it came up as Jersey City NJ with Sacramento County sheriff civil but no other info. Believe this is some type of scam

Received a call from this number. They refused to give me their full address and full company name. I told them to send me a valid written notice with their company header with full information of the original complaint. They got angry. They refused to. They told me they don't send letters. I told them thank you for outing themselves as scam artists. They started screaming at me and I hung up.

Called the 833-969-2769 number again. Whoever answered RW Assoc? Asked if they called on number I was calling from I said it was and she said it wasn't in their call system and that it was a mistake. She asked for my name and I told her I wasn't giving to her and that I was awaiting police to whom I would be giving phone numbers etc and her reply was "I believe this is a mistake, have a good day" and she then hung up

They called my from this number, a foreign man saying that he was with some Law office of such and such. I could barely understand him. He went on to tell me that I OWED AN $850 PAYDAY LOAN!!! First of all I haven't gotten a PAYDAY LOAN, secondly I live in Alabama and the most u can get in a payday loan is $500 and thirdly I told him I was in bankruptcy so there was NO WAY I could obtain a loan. 😂 He wanted to kno which chapter. I said of none of your business but if in fact this was a legitimate call u would've have known that already,

Scam collection company trying to collect ficticious payday loan debt.

I just received the same call and he became so rude when I explained to him that every year around the same time I get the same types of calls and I’m so tired of scammers trying to rob hard working citizens. He then says they don’t send out a mailing campaign when I asked why haven’t I received anything in the mail. I told him he can’t call my phone making up scenarios from information they got from the internet. I told him his dates don’t add up to where I was living at those times and he then claims I’ll receive a letter within 7-10 days.

Message saying they are pursuing me for a matter in their office, then they leave a call back number. This is nothing but a scam!!!

Have called several times.  First time they have left a message.  Claim the are a collection agency (unknown) and calling to recover a pay day loan.  I’ve never had a payday loan!  No identification given on recording.  Fake case number.  I am a retired police officer and if they call again, I will tell them to come serve me and I will have the local PD to witness.

I just got a call from a local number that could not be found stating in a recorded voice to call as this is a time sensitive matter and is being handle within the legal limits of the laws in my state. Then asked me to call back the 833-969-2769 number. No thank you scammers not today. I have almost fallen for this once before when i was in my 20's, I will not be falling for it this time.

Called about a payday loan from 2013 through ezcorp. Payday section. Goes under several different names. Couldn't really understand the guy. Said it was a courtesy call eventually told me line was being recorded after several minutes. Claimed I had 800$ payday loan dispute and this was a courtesy call. Did some research ezcorp is the company that got sued in 2015 for illegal collections. They were made to pay 10m back and cease their company or that part I believe. I dnt recall a payday loan through them or their subsidiaries. Very unprofessional.

I just got the same kind of call from these people the same way. They claim to be Brook and Wiseman I think is what she said, when I googled it it didnt come up as a law firm; it came up as a person with a Facebook profile and other articles.

as you have indicated above same thing happen today, but I didn't call the number it sounded to fishy and theses people are a bunch of losers and the police will catch up to them!!!

Calling my number at work because I already blocked them at home. Said they are pursuing a time sensitive matter. The 833-969-2769 is the number they want me to call. They called from 410-401-4896 which is a Maryland area code & Maryland is where I live. I don't answer unless I know the number so I didn't pick up. They called every day last week & started again today.

They keep calling & leaving a message I did something illegal & I need to call them with ref#RBC24239.....I have never done anything like this

It getting ridiculous. They call every year. Leave a message. I just don’t even listen to it anymore. Why don’t they find something better to do with their time.people work hard for their money and don’t want to be taken advantage of. They will even call your family if they can get their numbers.

I'm getting the same call .saying the police are coming for me.why r try calling from Texas and I leave in Michigan.lol
