I had number call today

Coincidence ... or not??? I too received a call from this number... I believe it has something to do with an old payday loan. But I could be wrong. The message that was left sounded like 3 different automated voices. When I called the number back it went to voicemail then said the box was full.

I had a message from this number on 12/30 as well.  One of the robo voices said it was for a name that isn't mine or anyone I know.  I won't be calling it back.

These scammers get the names and numbers from a Rent-A-Center Data breach from a few years ago. Don't give them any info or money.

This number called my dad and my sister in law looking for me.  Not sure how they got there numbers.  On 12/30/17 and again on 1/2/18.

I Received This Number  843-534-5825 Today On 01/02/17

Was left a message by John Lewis, and left the 843-534-5825 #.  The message was from 12-29-17, saying a complaint was filed against my fiancee.  Apparently, my fiancee's sister also got the same message I did. DON'T GIVE ANY INFO. IT'S  A SCAM.

Well known around here a criminal pretending to be a debt collector/process server, and for trying to extort money from people.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Called me a few times stating they have a formal complaint filed against me & if they don't hear from me the proper authority will be notified.. tried calling three times w/ a message stating to leave a call back number

Calling them back tips them off that they have scared you enough to get you to give them money.

I didn't answer.  They left a recording about a formal complaint being filed against my daughter's father-in-law, and if I know his whereabouts to call their number or their next step will be notifying the proper authorities.

Got a call today, 1/3/2018, saying they had a “formal complaint” regarding my husband. His credit history is clean with no old delinquencies or charge offs so I know it’s a scam. Wish these [***] would get real jobs.

This is a scam!!! Once i raised my voice and asked for documentation they hung up!! They just called and left a message for me 1/3/18 @

They just called me and then my mom. She is all stressed out.  I had to tell her its a scam.  They always try around tax time.  Its aweful

DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. ITS A SCAM! report any calls to to the do not call registry. It’s all nonsense!!!!

Left msg. Looking for someone I don’t know.  Also called my partners phone leaving same message.  We are currently being harassed by a woman who is a slumlord.  My guess is that this is a business designed to harass the public with No further info and scare tactics.

I have been receiving this call on a weekly basis.  How do you get these and others to stop calling.  Very annoying and have they nothing better to do with their time?
