- Cherz| 1 replyI have received a letter claiming to be from UPS (it was not). Also have received emails and now debt collection phone calls. After speaking to UPS about this I have confirmed that my company has never owed them money. We are not on that type of billing plan with them.
This is fraud. No matter what excuse these people are tying to give, it is fraud. The "UPS" letter was not from UPS and there is no money owed, never has been.
I've contacted the UPS fraud dept, USPS Inspector and now the FTC. The above "former employee" is making excuses for a fraudulent collections company.
This is nothing but a scam.- Caller: Synter Resource Group

- chris replies to Cherzi have recieved same letters and phone calls. i called UPS directly and they clearly stated i never owed anything. and plus i tried to email company but the email does not exist. they also say they attempted to charge my master card to clear balance but i have never owned in my life a master card.
this is a scam - MattAfter receiving a call from them I contacted FedEx directly and FedEx said they records showed I owed the same balance. It is just interesting that FedEx never contacted me directly to collect the balance and farmed the work out to Synter.
Because I was concerned about the reports from others that their credit cards had been hacked I went and bought a prepaid debit card from wal-mart and gave them that number. I wonder if maybe they had an employee stealing credit card numbers at some point.- Caller: Synter

- Bill| 3 repliesI got exactly the same phone call on my answering machine with the same profile saying that I have a bill past due with UPS. Problem is that the account # they list doesn't match mine, and I don't owe a dime to UPS in my legit account. I contacted Fraud@ups.com and asked them to confirm their relationship with Synter Resouce Group and the alleged past due in my name.
The person in the recording asks to call back to the number above and an extension number, but the call came through a tool free # 1 877 331 0803- Caller: Synter Resource Group

- mohanScammers- they send me a letter saying I owe UPS money. When I called them they wanted to me to send my credit card details by email. I got suspicious and googled them, which led me here. Thankful for alll the comments. I called UPS and they said I dont have any arrears. I had owed the same amount mentioned in their letter, but that was already paid few months ago. Wonder how they got these details.

- Bob Newman in NJThis is my second run-in with this double-wide full of chain smoking hags. they just sit around and make up fake invoices for stuff that never happened, always small amounts, hoping that an intern in the accounting department will pay.
Hey interns, show the fake bill to your boss first please!- Caller: Synter

- Debt Collector| 29 repliesYou all sound hilarious. Rather than sitting here complaining you don't owe a bill why don't you call the freight carrier themselves and ask if you owe the invoice. Synter Resource is a real company and are hired by thousands of freight carriers to resolve their delinquent invoices that some of you have failed to pay or resolve. You can reach Synter at 843-746-2200 opt 0 for an operator and ask for a supervisor or the presidents of the company and they can explain to you the invoices. UPS, FEDEX, CONWAY, YRC, SEFL - all are valid carriers that use Synters service to help with their invoices. Please do more research before just claiming you don't owe a bill. Synter gets their information from the carrier themselves so obviously their is some type of invoice open that they are just trying to help resolve.

- CONFIRMATION replies to kem briggs| 6 repliesSynter Resource is not a scam. Synter is a real company that is hired by numerous freight carriers to resolve delinquent invoices. If you have complaints please call them directly to resolve at 843-746-2200. They are calling or mailing letters for a reason. To stop calls you need to FIX and RESOLVE the invoice or notice with them. The reason they ask for "banking details" is that they provide that information back to the carrier to have the invoice closed from collections. They don't specifically ask for your routing or bank number they ask for the check number, amount, date cashed; if it was over 30 days ago they ask for a copy of the cancelled check showing that check was cashed. Wether you pay Synter or the carrier Synter gets credit from the carrier for the invoice as again they are hired from them to resolve. If you don't believe you owe the invoice then pick up the phone and call them to find out why you are getting notices, they will be happy to explain the charges.
Thank you! - TSTEXGIRL replies to Debt Collector| 3 repliesI use UPS and Fedex all the time and never heard of Synter Resource. How can you bill someone for something you pay up front to ship out? My money always went to UPS or Fedex directly. This sounds like a scam and if it is not please provide the proof that this business is connected to these well known freight companies.
- MJG replies to Debt Collector| 13 repliesSo do we believe UPS & quite a few unhappy individuals or someone who just happened to "find" this thread??
Gee - that's a tough choice (not!). - Elspeth replies to Debt Collector| 8 repliesWhat is hilarious is the fact you think you can come here and tell your scummy lies. If you had bothered to read the posts, you'd see that people did call UPS or the carrier - and they don't owe. Please do more research before just claiming that people owe bills.
- TX Gal replies to TSTEXGIRLIf its a commercial account you don't pay upfront you get a monthly bill. We get fake reps calling all the time with this type of scam.
