- Mary| 3 repliesThey actually sent me a letter saying they are a debt collection company Neo Finacial Services. They said they are trying to settle a debt with me. It was from a company that tried to scam me before. I never did any business with this company but yet they say that they have me on record saying that I agreed to have there services. I never did and demanded to hear the tape. She said she couldn't let me do that and that I would have to get a lawyer. She said I had to pay right now with a credit card. I told her no I was not paying for something I didn't even do.And I also wanted to look more into there company. they gave me a web site but can't find anything about them except that there company doesn't exist and they r trying to scam me as well. If you talk to a company called Neo Financial Services or get a call from a #844-213-0037 then beware cause its a SCAM!

- Nicole| 1 replyI have been called several times by this company. They stated that they had sent me two letters and they were about to turn my account over to collections. I told them that I needed to see the letter. The rep emailed a letter with my name misspelled and the wrong address saying that I owed a company (I LEARNING) $381.56. They told me that the company that referred them to me would not talk to me on the phone to provide proof that I owed them any money. They even offered me a settlement. Total scam!!!!!

- BigA replies to Dacia| 19 repliesBefore anyone pays them one red cent, remember, if they don't do this then they have broken the law and are criminals trying to extort money from you:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

- BigA replies to Dacia| 6 repliesYou are very welcome! And if you learn anything that might help us identify these crooks, please let us know.
- DLAKE replies to BigA| 7 repliesSo, I received a letter from Neo Financial Services, LLC as well. It is a collection letter stating the original debt owed is $369.11 to I LEARNING. Since they meet all the requirements listed above in their letter e.g. US Mail, Contact, Creditor, amount, dispute verbiage, etc. do I still need to dispute the claim even though I know it is a total scam?!
- Tamianth replies to DLAKEYes. You have 30 day's to reply to this. Follow the steps in what you need to know below and make sure you read your rights also.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.
Some Tips:

*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

It must be sent within 30 days of receipt of that letter, it must be in writing, and it is best to send it certified, return receipt, that way you know they got it and they know that you know.
If you need to know what a dispute letter looks like, go to the CFPB web site at the above link and they have sample letters on their site that you can look at, copy and modify for your use. - BigAI have to say, this guy is buried in LLC after LLC.

http://www.flofr.com/StaticPages/FileAComplaint.htm - Dana replies to Mary| 1 replyI received the same exact letter and had the same exact experience on the phone. What did you do? Did you respond to the letter? I don't know what to do at this point. Did you ignore it and if so did you hear any more from them?
- Deemavrik replies to DaciaHey I got a similar letter. How did you get rid off these fools? They keep harassing me. They also are linked in some way to the other scammers, Card Services/ Card Member Services.
- Lena replies to NicoleI am the same lady. They claimed that they sent me two letters to 2 different addressees that I never lived at. This letter is already in collections. Well the are the scammers and collectors. Just be careful whom you talk to or give info to .
- Lena replies to DLAKE| 3 repliesyes, if one of us lets them get away with this we all loose. Make a formal complaint to the FTC the government. Then telling them goby hell. Make sure your credit has not been tempered with. You have the right to a free per year credit report. Look at it.
- Lena| 1 replyi called them first after I got this letter. This Lisa tries to speak to me as if I was a criminal. She hangs up on me then I called again they would not answer the phone I left five messages. Then the same voice calls back Lisa again she hangs on me. They don't like to be challenged. She said I speak to much maybe to smart for her. Lisa

- Judy replies to LenaI refused to give Lisa any information because first of all she had my address wrong; it belonged to my mother who is in assisted living. I told her I thought she was a scammer and that if she attempted to call me or anyone else in my family she would be sorry. I then hung up. She called me back and told me she worked for a legitimate company and my call had been recorded and that she was turning over my "threateing" message to their legal department. I told her to do whatever she had to but I was not paying any debt. I never received a letter and my mother says she never received it at her address either. I don't know if I'll hear from them again or not.
- LC replies to MaryThis happened to me today!!!! Did you do anything?! File a complaint? Respond to them?
- SherylI have been dealing with the Federal Trade Commission for a month over this deal. Please call them and report them on your behalf. Also if anyone has any information on who exactly is I Learning, their phone number and address please post it and please please call the Federal Trade Commission and give them this information so they can be stopped as well. Do not pay neo services llc a dime. The Federal Trade Commission is looking into this.
- Caller: Neo Services LLC

- CWIN replies to BigASo i have tried numerous times to fax my letter stating i'm disputing the validity of this debt and the fax number they gave me is always busy. I also sent an email with a signed and dated letter to a Renne Hernandez stating i tried to fax it. I have got no response back from anyone. They stated they send me my first letter on 8/24/2015 which i never recieved. So i still need to worry about this since i attempted to dispute this debt?
Can they get any money out of us???? - Kathy| 2 repliesI appreciate all of the information, people. I don't know anything about I Learning, but I have been contacted by a client who was approached by Neo Services on behalf of something called Member Services, which offered to reduce the interest rate on his existing credit card. When he was told the charge for that service would be $600, he told them to forget it. He has now been informed that he owes them this sum for "work done on his behalf," and that they will report him to the credit bureaus if he doesn't pay. Does anybody know if any such reports have actually ever been made? Or is this as empty a threat as their existence is an empty shell?
