- K| 1 replyOnly leaves messages on awnsering machines. When I leave machine pick up this number they leave a message like the one mentioned above. But every time I actually awnser it they don't say a word and then hang up.
Upon research it's funny how the company is incorporated in Florida but yet hiring adds state buffalo NY lol. My guess is that they use the Florida address to draw attention away from them and then use call spoofing from a New York phone.- Caller: Sandcastle mediation

- Caller: ?? Mediation
- Call type: Debt collector
- BigA replies to AnonymousThis is a new criminal enterprise pretending to be debt collectors and using illegal collection tactics. If you were behind on a credit card you would have heard from them first. If there were truly a "civil action" then you would have been properly served as per local courthouse Rules of Civil Procedure.
You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.

They aren’t registered with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation as a debt collector so they are operating illegally.
It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

So it does look like they are in Buffalo, what a surprise! - LMThey called my job repeatedly for days, they called my mother several times and 2 of the guys were pushy with the receptionists at my job (one of which was pregnant). I was on the phone with one guy and the receptionist said literally the other guy was calling on the other line and when I didn't answer quick enough he hung up and called right back. I tried to work with them and told them several times on more than one occasion and with 2 of the guys and the Secretary that they were not allowed to call my job, and still they called. They told me I had court on the 30th and it was around the 25th and yet there was no paperwork or anything. To not get emotional is like an understatement, my hands would literally be shaking when the receptionist would tell me they called and to not have them call again, only to have them call as recently as twice today (11/1/17). They even asked my mother for my father's number, they also said they had permission from a supervisor to call me, when I know that's a lie, because I work in the medical field and I am on the floor. The supervisor asked me for my supervisors name when I questioned him about it, and I told him that I would not provide him a name that they claimed they had.
