Got a call saying that they received a fax from someone saying they were filing criminal and civil charges against me saying that they would come to my home and employer and serve me court paper's saying that a armed officer would come with the person who was to serve me and they also called my wife  with the same message on her phone had her all nervous and upset and they also stated that I needed to have 2 forms identification very scary if they can get ur information easy as that

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just received a number from 84 4254 4605 saying that my sister got to go to court for a criminal case in the private investigator I want to report this and hopefully someone will look into this thank you.

NO ONE will ever contact you via telephone about a criminal case with you being the accused party. NO ONE will tell you to return a call and state that if you don't, preceding's will move forward nor will anyone advise you that you will be served. If it were legit, you would recognize the area code, possibly be contacted by certified letter or just get a knock at the door and be served papers for whatever the matter might be. SCAM SCAM SCAM!  Someone is attempting to take money from you and it is definitely not a criminal matter. At best, its a collection agency attempting to scare you and that's a civil matter.

Got  a call saying it was Jasmine Clark looking for someone else (not me) saying they got a fax from Cook County Court about some fraudulent activity and they needed me to call back to file a statement of intent.  left a case number and everything. They said that this person (again, not me) has been legally notified. The call was "withheld", but the call back  number (left on voicemail) said to call the 844-254-4605 number to file a statement of intent.

I just got a VM stating that they are the ELF Group & have a case in their ofc with me listed as the main party in regards to possible fraud activity against my name & ss#. What is this? What very strange is that at first I thought it was an actual person leaving a message but then the msg repeats. Seems very strange and I doubt the validity of the call.

Getting harassing calls telling me that papers were faxes to her office (Kim grovano) for criminal and civil charges and that if I do not take care of it there will be a big problem... She is very threatening and even called my father and told him to f*** off! This is not cool

This just happened to me.  The woman called my cell claiming to be a process server.  I hung up on her knowing it is a scam.  She called back and left a voice message.  I am a postmaster and I see this kind of horror all the time.  It is awful.

Got a call from this number stating that my name and SSN were used fraudulently. I believe this to be a scam.
