Claimed taxes were not paid, coming to arrest us now etc etc. Called Revenue Canada, its a scammer. Report the caller.

This is beautiful.  For those of you who want to have some fun and have time on your hands, call the number back and scam them!  They are hiring people in India to take your calls.  Tell them you have to look up the information they need and ask them to hold....it wastes their time and resources...let's do what we can to get back at them!  I called them 10 times so far... :)

Just spoke to this guy myself...he's pretty slimy.  They have called my office 3 times today... I have called there's 10 times.  Most of them hang up when I ask "So you're saying you're CRA"...Click, "How many times can I call you before it annoys you?"... click, and "How well do you sleep at night pretending you are something you are not and attempting to rip people off?"... that was 'Michael' the pig that kept giggling and calling me baby and saying other things like above...I said "Oh you're the guy they mentioned on the internet... I laughed at him and told him I guess I'll be talking to you again soon." and I hung up.  Excuse me I have a few more calls to make.

This is the second time that I have received a voice mail message from this number indicating that an agent from CRA would be arriving at my door soon to serve me with paperwork associated with putting liens on my property and assets due to unpaid tax bills.  When I called the number back, I was immediately disconnected.

Received this same message from 844-258-4032 on my answering machine three times from 11am to 3pm. Freaked me out at first, but after reading these comments,  I know that it is a scam. Thanks a lot.

Received a call today from 844-258-4032, they were saying I owed tax money. I ask him for info like my SIN # he didn't know what that was. He also wanted my cell #, don't give them any info this is a scam!!! He may also tell you the police are on the way to arrest you.

I called 844 number and tore a strip off the person who answered the phone as the CRA. I eventually was put through to Michael Brown who was hyper aggressive with me which I returned in kind. He eventually told me there was a warrant out for my arrest and he could have the RCMP at my home in 45 minutes to arrest me. My response was this. "Listen you f_____g [***], I was born at night but it wasn't last night so f__k off." At that point he hung up.

Annoying, threatens

this is the 4th call I received this month. Very annoying. I wish they could find these guys and put a stop to it. This is a scam to scare people saying that they are from the  CRA regarding unpaid taxes.

this people are saying that they are calling from CRA and asking to pay for unpaid taxes. they also said that they are going to send the police to our house. Trying to make us pay the money right away. This is a scam

Also received 2 calls (messages) from this number claiming to be CRA collecting unpaid taxes and that an officeer will follow up with forms to fill out etc. Obviously big scam.

I phoned them back twice first time Michael Brown the second time Brad Nelson I told him he was going to be someone's girl in prison when they caught up to him, he could not stand my abuse to his scam call and started saying they were smarter than me and had doctors, lawyer and computer engineers working with them Canada anti scam off line and not working today could be the wave of calls we have been getting.......

These guys are jokes, I was so pissed, I hope they find these guys before I do. They claim I owe taxes, and there suing me large. They asked me if I had a lawyer, I said send me a letter, and I will deal with it. He hung up the phone. This was happening all day. What a waste of sperm on these losers.

Call claiming to be CRA, taxes owed, told to call back or collections would be sent.  called 3-4x in one day.

Got a message on our voice mail upon return from vacation. Jan Cooper (with a strong Asian accent) advised me the I was being sued by the tax audit dept of Canada Revenue and that I or my lawyer had to call them back otherwise I would be liable for all legal costs!!!!!!

Received three messages threatening to freeze my assets if I did not address my debt to the CRA immediately.  The phone number was 1-844-258-4032.  When I phoned I reached an automated response asking if my concern was a business or personal matter.  I was put on hold and transferred to a busy signal.  Two subsequent calls reached only the busy signal.

I have recieved calls from August 24 - 25 from this number claiming they are from CRA and I owed taxes.  I called the nbr back several times and each time someone would hang up on me.  2 times I actaully spoke to a person could not hear them from the noise in the background, they asked for my number and when I said why you called me they hung up.  Once I even asked the guys why is there so much noise in the background...I got a dail tone.  I finally had to block they number.  Sounds like a "Boiler Room"
